I have a local hotel with very expensive themed rooms. I must be alone and not disturbed for my first ayahausca trip. My question to you is what theme would you choose? I cant decide between egyptian, enchanted forrest, or the castle theme(i like the towers and rope bridges lol)

Also, I have exactly 5 grams mimosa hostilis. Incase its not enough, should I bring something else with me?

I would definitely choose the forest but that's just me.

I'm not sure I would choose a hotel room for an aya experience. I prefer my bedroom, but I could see it being unpleasant if you have roommates and they are not willing to be quiet for a few hours. On that note, who knows what kind of noise will be going on in a hotel? Fucking, fighting, barking, all common things to hear in hotels...

But I suppose if it were my only option, forest. Without a doubt. Egyptian might be 2nd choice.

Please read our attitude page:

No discussion about taking entheogens in an unsafe or irresponsible setting

Taking ayahuasca in a hotel is clearly not a good setting. It is all too easy for staff to enter the room while you are busy. If they find you while you are in hyperspace there is a good chance that they will call the authorities and with that you will probably end up in jail or the hospital or both.

Please be responsible, we do not need another bad media report.

Kind regards,

Maybe try a smaller dose at first to see how comfortable you are with this batch or dose.

I think taking a large dose by yourself without a sitter in a hotel room might indeed be dangerous as trav pointed out, but if you take it in a smaller dose (like 3g mimosa), it`s definitely safer (also if you can have a sitter..)

Remember not to make any excess or weird noises, not to have any more drugs with you appart from what is in your body, and to put the `dont disturb` sign on your door.

You also didnt mention what`s the MAOI source, you only said mimosa... are you taking caapi ?

Maybe instead of a hotel room you can go to a rented cabin in the woods or something?

You should definitely get a cabin in the woods.

This would absolutely be the safer route compared to a hotel room. Trav makes some very good points about the risks of drinking aya in a hotel room.

I would go castle if that's what u really like, thou ONLY if you had a sitter that could look after you, answer any door knocks with "go away, we're having xxx" etc
