My question is a simple one.

What dmt would you recommend for first timers? I read about 5 and 4 meo and so on.

4-PO-DMT/4-HO-DMT
or just plain ol' DMT
5-meo is a bit more intense, as i understand it. probably not the best substance for an initiate

I second this. Psilocybin/psilocin would probably produce less of a shocking experience than N,N-DMT and definitely less chocking than 5-MeO. Psilocybin/psilocin can sort of give a person a feel for what the altered state produced by tryptamines is like, in my opinion. But the effects of the different compounds are tremendously unique to each one. They are very different chemicals, so referring to them as different "types" of DMT could be a little bit misleading.

I thought you meant vaped or oral. Ayahuasca or Pharmahuasca can be very gentle teachers. Vaped DMT is unlike anything else.

definitely don't do 5-meo dmt first unless you want to be in shock the rest of your life. Plus in my opinion working with phalaris grass is very frustrating. what is your experience when it comes to psychedelics?

Lol, very true. My first real experience with DMT was 5meo, having been told it was the plain old, vanilla, spice.
I actually didn't find out til long after the fact, I just thought I had a near death experience from injecting some kind of toxic psychedelic that gave me a psychic link to the big G. Seriously, though, it was scary, not so much the experience but the after shock. Literally (!) world shattering!

Yes I read this post thinking you have some psych experience. If you are wondering what to try along the aya/cape route, then I concur, n,n DMT is the way to go.

I have zero experience with phycodelics. I grew up mormon... I didn't even have a drink of alcohol until my mid twenties and the only drug I've ever had in my life is pot.

Trust me though... I am of sound mind and heart. This is a personal spiritual journey that I have not taken lightly.

But I'd say go with N N DMT first only because when people say "dmt" it's probably what they're talking about, if you wanted to get into the conversation.

I've also tried 5 meo before, and holy god was it scary. It was like falling, falling forever into a deeper, wider, swallowing mouth of an abyss leading into a black hole, with god's eyes watching you the whole time but you could not see them. In consolation, I kept trying to tell myself that I would live through it, but soon forgot how to speak to my own mind I was overcome with so much awe. It was about as much of the everlasting infinite I could stand to behold.

Personally man I wouldn't start with dmt. Some would disagree but I think you gota learn to walk before you can run. You never know how your body reacts to certain substances and with psychedelics you want to know or things can really get bad. You don't wanna just jump in, you want to test the water and see if you like it. I would say some shrooms first or a small rip of salvia. I would suggest acid but at least where I am you just can't trust it anymore. Shrooms are easy to grow and dirt cheap. They can be very rewarding and plentiful. Nothing better than 3.5gs of golden teachers. Haha

Start with nn-DMT at low doses and work your way up
