It was on my desk all loaded and ready to go for a journey tonight, I put a book on my desk and accidentally pushed a small obsidian sphere back into it just barely hard enough to break it...  Since I was already standing in front of my computer, I ordered a new bottom piece within about 10 seconds lol

Damn buddy. Always a tragedy. I have a hard time keeping nice glass around. I'm just too clumsy! I dropped a damn yankee candle on mine somehow like a year ago. It broke my heart. I haven't been able to replace it yet Coinci-Transcendentalism

Do you have a bunsenburner or a blow torch? They get hot enough to melt most glas and you could try to repair it by melting the pieces back together.

Yea, it broke apart pretty cleanly , the two pieces fit in there pretty well. I may try the blowtorch idea as a temporary fix, but I ordered a replacement bottom piece almost immediately so it should be here by Monday. Thank you guys for comforting me in my time of need. A service will be held on Sunday at 12:00 PM at the Westboro Baptist Church, after which he will be buried in my backyard next to the big tree.
