Note* I realize this belongs in "The Ethnobotanical Garden" section, but seeing as I don't yet have the privelage of posting in that area I decided to start the thread here.
I want to start a garden full of entheogenic plants and I was wondering if anyone had compiled a list of what should be grown, during what seasons, and in what amounts to ensure full potential without depleting the plant life.
I'm interested in growing M. Hostilis, B.Caapi, a few different Cacti, a few different species of "magic mushrooms" and anything else I can get my hands on. My interest lies in the growth and lifelong study of these amazing plants and their relationship with human beings. I am also very interested in growing other plant life just for its beauty and to help my children find the joy of gardening and building something sustainable and worthwhile.
I want to be a sort of "shaman" if you could call it that? I want to be able to teach people about the inherent value of these beautiful living things. Also I want to be a sort of "secret" or "underground" local provider of these plants helping those interested in my community to learn about the plants, have their first experience with the plants and to help any who are interested in starting a "Magic Garden" of their own.
Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated and will be met with open arms and an open mind.
