I guess there's some people here with experience and knowledge of kambo, so I'll post this here, hope it's ok.

Kambo should contain strong opiates, but why the bioassays generally do not tell of such experiences? Do the opiates also cross through the skin when the dots are applied? It seems to me like the purging qualities of kambo could mainly be attributed to the other peptide compounds in kambo, especially phyllomedusin.

I'd really like to know the solubility of these compounds. According to some abstracts (couldn't access the articles) dermorphin and other opiate peptides from phyllomedusa skin could be obtained by methanolic extraction. I don't suggest anyone to dose extracted dermorphin even if it could be done though.

Has anybody microdosed kambo? For me even three dots seem really hardcore... If and when I gather enough courage to try kambo out, I will probably start with only one dot.

I posted about a kambo experience recently and to me the opioid effects were definitely felt but not in isolation eg churning guts and bowel movement in addition to nausea, dry tight throat (atypical for opioids), some respiratory slowing and a general feel-good effect like a mu agonist but IMO inferior to some agents Ive tried.

I would like to hear of any other kambo experiences by venturers who are familiar with typical opiate effects to see if they concur with my sole kambo mission, because I wonder if the feeling great after the initial taxing effects are indeed opioid-peptide related to a large degree.I am also intrigued by reports of some reverse tolerance on repeated use.

I dunno about extracting from kambo; deltorphin (delta receptor agonist)and dermorphin (mu agonist) are very potent and dosed in micrograms so dosing would be tricky and potentially lethal if done wrong.

I also think the method traditionally used is riddled with variables eg size of burn, access to the lymphatics from the burns, variability in size of dots, age and make-up of the sapo etc which makes kambo a pretty unique and unstandardized experience.
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

corpus,

Yeah I read your topic which sparked my interest in kambo once again. I'm sorry I couldn't reply to your topic since I've yet no access to that board.

Your experience sounded quite comforting actually compared to many others I've read about. I have never felt much euphoria from opiates and generally I'm only after the hypnotic/anxiolytic effect. I always dose a few hours before going to bed and spend the night dosing calmly (don't think I actually nod). Did you feel kambo affected your sleep any way?
