Well friends, I have a story to relate which may or may not be of interest.
Quick introduction-
I came across this community and the wealth of information contained within around autumn (northern hemisphere) of last year. I was then living in Korea, an incredibly conservative country, but was determined to learn how to extract and benefit from the products thereof.
I had successfully carried out one extraction and thus placed an order for 1kg of MHRB from Europe. The first of my orders came through fine, unfortunately the second was delivered by undercover investigators who promptly handcuffed me and took me to witness the searching of my apartment. Somewhat perturbed by my calm and blissful demeanour they sought to rile me up with threats and brandished batons, but to no avail; my soul is one that, in part due to the study and use of certain sacraments, shall never be able to be either caged or terrorised.
Upon searching my apartment they found a small quantity of marijuana (2.4g), some dimitri (3g), 4g of LSD (absurdly they weighed the bag and foil that 4 tabs were contained within), the scrapings of a previous bag of MHRB, and my prized companion; a delightful (yet expensive) VaporGenie.
After all this I was thrown in the slammer and my case went on from there.
I was obviously in no position to state that my order of MHRB was for dying or the like, and with all the evidence they had against me I felt it prudent to be fully honest and provide full disclosure about my use of these things.
Over the course of 3 interviews with the prosecution I detailed my veneration for this sacrament, my use of it in a spiritual context, and my own philosophical views pertaining to it. Whilst this was of use in the end (my lawyer finding corroborating evidence showing that these substances (dimitri especially) are used in a religious context) initially it caused some issues as the media got hold of the story and reported I was a lunatic, drug-addict, cult leader who was a dangerous threat to society. This being Korea, and having zero experience of such things, I could understand why they would think this.
I gave them all the information they requested, but sought to play down some aspects so they wouldn't fully grasp the potency of dimitri, telling them that I would use 0.5g in one pipe, which they believed and then reported in the media. It was also reported that DMT was a drug 5 times as powerful as marijuana... that did make me chortle.
My charges were: 1. Smuggling 1kg of a psychoactive substance 2. Possession of DMT 3. Possession of marijuana 3. Possession of LSD 4. Smoking marijuana
For this I was facing 5 years to life imprisonment.
Prison itself was a thoroughly spiritual experience, one which confirmed the absolute validity of my philosophy and my understandings, which in part stem from use of plant teachers. The value of remaining positive, full of love, and fully peaceful within the present moment was once more confirmed. I made a great deal of friends, with prisoners and prison officers, guards and prosecutors alike, and was thoroughly surprised that far from being a terrifying experience full of anger, it was one which proved I was truly free and nothing was ever able to shackle this.
We managed to secure a bloody fantastic lawyer who put together a great case. This, coupled with a whole trove of other things, led to me receiving a 3 year sentence, suspended for 5 years, which meant, as a foreigner, I was immediately deported back to my home soil.
I relate all this as a warning for anyone else thinking of ordering such things in Korea (not likely, I know, but I do not like to think of another brother or sister landing in the same spot with possibly a less accepting demeanour).
The customs there will now treat all mimosa as a drug in itself, at the full weight it arrives in. As absurd as this is for us that are in the know, for them it is a rational response. This is a country that equates marijuana with heroin.
I am not perturbed by this experience, rather I am even more committed to the path I have been set upon and feel blessed that I was able to test the validity of a lived philosophy. After all, it is all very well to understand things intellectually, but to have the opportunity to test them in circumstances such as this is priceless.
I will be happy to answer any questions you have for me. Knowing how fickle the internet can be I can also supply proof (although why anyone would fabricate such a story I do not know) in the form of the document outlying the charges against me.
As it is, two of my brothers are currently still in prison having ordered at a separate time from me. Their trials are this week and I can only hope the universe conspires to set them free.
I am glad to be back in slightly saner lands with the first decent ale I have drunk in several years.
The media in Korea reported my story leaving my name out of it, but I have yet to try and dig up any articles or messageboards about it.
I have a whole trove of anecdotes from life inside, my time spent with my yakuza friends (in Korea they are called 'gon-dall', which means 'reach the sky'

, and the beautiful conversations upon life, philosophy, and culture with the prison officers.
I apologize for the length of this but hope it interests some of you

Bliss to you brethren
