Thanks for expanding on it, that was very interesting to read

Each person is like a universe, it's fascinating I think to see the different paths that human can take, and the strategies we each create to deal with the unique situations in our lives.
One thing that wasn't clear from what you said, is that you mentioned it all started in a stressful environment of some sort, but then later you said you came to terms with the fact you might not have gotten your mental issues if it wasn't for the substances... So you were also consuming psychedelics or other psychoactives during that stressful period?
Regarding latuda/lurasidone, it seems it is an antagonist in several receptors, including the 5HT2a, which is strongly related with psychedelic effects. So I imagine you couldn't trip if you took it. It has a pretty long half life of 18h, you`d have to be a few days without it to be able to trip, and that that's a big decision that should be discussed with your doctor if you decide so. I'm neither sure how advisable taking any kind of psychoactives is in your situation.. This is always a tricky subject because on one hand, it is probably safer to be discouraged because it might go a wrong way, precipitate some crisis. But then again, there are more and more mental conditions being shown to respond well and even be treated with psychedelics, if taken under appropriate context and supervision. Not sure if there are any reports or info regarding bipolar disorder though...
In any case I understand completely if you feel you want to avoid psychedelics... I feel like even if I never would take any psychedelics again, I'd still be damn interested in everything surrounding them, studying consciousness, ethnobotany, pharmacology, culture, technology, etc.... And the nexus is a fascinating place for that sort of discussion

One thing that called my attention, you mentioned methylone and 4-FA... That's really surprising, why those substances? Methylone appears so far to not be as problematic as some other cathinones or newer RCs, but it's still a pretty new substance that we don't know much about mid-long term effects, why did you consider it as a safe bet? Also 4-FA is an amphetamine, and it sounds to me like a substance that someone who could have a manic episode should steer clear of, no?
