G'day All,

Long time dweller, not so much a talker but decided to sign up today and contribute to a fantastic community. I've had several experiences over the years with spice which have had exceptionally positive outcomes on my life some quite profound. Spice in a very short time evidently removed my desire for alcohol and other medications (irresponsibly prescribed) that were used then abused and I'm pretty thankful for that.

I've grown a very deep seeded respect for the beneficial properties that come with investigating the subconscious with this special catalyst. Earlier on when it was fairly new to me I would simply launch off into intangible journeys that were wildly entertaining and sometimes held significance. Others...well they simply left me with unexplained amazement of which I was unable to draw parallels between my own rational thought processes and the experience. This drew me to the conclusion that it's often wise to give some of these experiences little more than a passing thought and a giggle.

However in the later stages, due to pressing anxiety, I experimented with exceptionally low 'threshold cross' which allowed me to close my mind to external stimuli and reach a very very calm meditative state (almost non psychedelic) which has incidentally diminished the anxiety that I once held. I'm now leading a very happily satisfied and successful existence and plan my meditative sessions for beautiful sunny days in the grass!

Probably a bit much for an opening summary! but hey, all good.

Look forward to reading and learning more from the rest of you.

Hello,

I am happy to see that your experience helped you kick your bad habits. I think the whole purpose it to be able to examine yourself inside and out and find a path to a more virtuous and in tuned life.

Once you open your eyes you can not go back to sleep... I see you, Namaste peace, love, light

Glad to hear more stories of how the spice can positively influence a person.

I find gratitude in the experiences full with meaning as well as the giggly ones.

When your desire for alcohol was "removed" was there any narrative aspect to the experience that highlighted overuse, or did you simply no longer have the desire when the experience(s?) were over?

Welcome!

I'd be interested to hear that as well.
At a time when I smoked cigs id got my hands on some jwh-018, which was surprisingly to me quite powerful. After smoking it my internal dialogue was no longer consciously controlled by me and seemed to ramble on separately, to a point where I wasn’t sure if I was actually hearing it with my ears. Anyway the voice was really getting into me and mocking my ways and I remember at the time I had a cig in my hand and it told me along the lines of “why are you abusing yourself like that you douche, look at that cylindrical filth your burning and breathing in… Stop being so pathetic” I remember being quite frightened that I was going crazy, this even after I was well experienced with high doses of psilocybin.
I quit there and then.
The voice also told me that if I continued to abuse the jwh, that it would ruin my relationship. I didn’t listen to that and low and behold a month later the misses (who is cool with me smoking hooch, mush and tabs but was vehemently against synthetic cannabinoids) found a packet and crucified me for it. All good now and won’t touch it again though.
