The great state of Colorado that is. Where just eight days ago recreational marijuana shops opened for business! Hopefully more states will continue to follow suit.

A little about me...

I am in my late twenties, married and develop websites for living. My experience with psychedelic drugs is is absolute zero. I have always had a fear of seeing things which do not exist or at least don't seem real. However up until about a year ago after watching the DMT documentary I have been very intrigued in trying it. It is the only psychedelic drug I have any interest in doing. I'm not sure how to explain why exactly, but I guess It's either go big or go home. I want to shot out of this world like no other.

I am an agnostic and believe more in the spiritual side of the things and the metaphysical then what organized religion has to offer. Me an my wife have plans to visit a Buddhist temple this summer up in the mountains to further expand our thoughts and beliefs.

I am a forum lurker and more on an introvert, so I don't know how long it will take to get a full membership but I hope sometime soon. However I will contribute as much as I can regardless.

Looking forward to what the future brings!

Welcome. This is a great place to do ones homework before taking the plunge.
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.

Welcome!

I'm so jealous because you live in Colorado. In my country pot will probably not be legalized or decriminalized in my lifetime although nobody cares about it that much anymore. Still I'd like that legal status, it is the best medicine for anxiety when taken in moderation...

Anyway I think your doing the right thing preparing carefully for your introduction to psychedelics. Just make sure you have someone there and I'm sure it's gonna be ok.

Here in far northern Europe it's always been "overdose rather than 'underdose'", so I dived straight into shrooms at the age of 17 without much though. Luckily I've never had any bad trips, just unforgettable times and deep lessons. And I've even got past that all-drugs-for-me-right-now attitude

DMT may be right for you then. I'm sure you know the positive effects by now but let me say this to also ease your fear...

If you open your eyes, all the craziness pretty much stops.
If you smoke it, in about 15 minutes it's over.
You won't OD.

Yay CO, yay WA, and this year (hopefully, unless the black marketers stop it again,) yay OR!

And welcome, friend,

Happy trails!

I totally understand how you feel about psychedelics. DMT was my first "real" experience.

Who knows later on you may find yourself intrigued by other compounds in the future like myself Thumbs up

Oh, and Michigan also has a few cities that allow legal possession of cannabis Big grin
Oh my god. I broke it. I broke reality.

Hey there new here as well. I know what you mean as I’m an introvert as well, coupled with social anxiety (not med diagnosed but whenever I’m around people and talk I run out of breath an get a really strange feeling on my forehead and brow, like the muscles are twisting around). I’m also a creepy forum lurker around your age and to be honest everything you stated I could of wrote myself for my intro as it is true for me except I have a bit of experience with LSD, LSA, psilocybin.

Really? Not in my experience - at not least not at any significant dose...
