You should have saved the largest crystal to put into your next extraction as a seed crystal. I did this one time and it came out as a 1.3g crystal. I gave it to someone as a bday gift. It was intensely beautiful. "I am cursed by the blossoming knowledge of my feminine ideal and she looks suspiciously like you."

No one ever got me a gift like that

Like brown sugar. So, DMT crystals form by attaching themselves to one another but when dmt drops out of a solution it has the tendency to spread out and attach itself to everything the solution is touching, and by the time its all removed from the solution, it looks like your pan. BUT, if you take a preformed crystal and drop it into a solution before any dmt has started falling out, then the first logical place for it to go is to attach itself to the crystal that was placed into before hand and grow from it, hence the term "Seed crystal". The dmt is still going to attach itself to everything else in the pan or jar as usual. When i did mine, i picked out a crystal that had formed that was .45g, and when i dropped it into a new solution it ended up being, as i mentioned before, 1.3g. it was kinda funny though because the original .45g crystal was made about a month prior to the second batch, so it had yellowed slightly and after the second layer was put ontop of it you could flip it over to its flat bottom of the crystal where it rested on the pyrex and the distinct layers were clearly noticeable. So if i dissolve the pre washed dmt into hot hexane and seperate the good stuff from the slag,i'd let it cool and add my crystal which wouldnt dissolve in cool/cold hexane? Is that right. Jumbo crystal madness here i come

Its just going to sink to the bottom and wait for more DMT to attach to it. "I am cursed by the blossoming knowledge of my feminine ideal and she looks suspiciously like you."

Good lord, those crystals have me all boned up! Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future. ---David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas

I am currently researching teks for my first extraction. i would love to know which tek you used and exactly what you did to yeild 6g of crystals from 360g MHRB.
