For those times when you're afraid to take your GVG on a road trip, camping, or wherever. It's called the Hammer Vaporizer and it's so simple to use you might even begin to use it at home. And it's a breeze to clean.

I decided to gamble $120 on it after reading the thread over at the FC forums and watching their cheesy video on Youtube. It seemed to function like a little mini-machine with a clean airpath, so I was pretty sure it would work. I just didn't know it would work as great as it did.

Here's the youtube video. http://youtu.be/M-01JsZ5aP4

For DMT, all you need to do is put some Chore Boy copper in, pre-melt your crystals gently, click on the Hammer for 30 seconds, and inhale for about 20 seconds.* I use an 8-inch piece of tubing for cooler vapor, but you don't really need it, the vapor isn't too hot if you inhale faster. With the tubing, the inhalation is just like that you get from the GVG when done right -- you don't even feel like you're inhaling anything but air. But then it hits you and you're in hyperspace.

It's so easy, I think newbies would do well with it instead of the GVG. There's no flame height or distance or timing to worry about, and the air stream goes straight through the entire copper ball so there's no unvaporized edges and you inhale your dose more completely. See pic below for the amount of crystallization left from three 20mg sessions.

I know it's a funny looking vaporizer, but it has worked so well for me, I just had to share. Smile

* edit: 12 to 15 seconds inhaling is a more accurate measurement.

If anyone is thinking about buying this, use the checkout code BLOWOUT and you can get it for $60 this weekend. Sale ends midnight Monday 12/2. The Hammer now also comes standard with new "lock-on" glass stems so you can use it one-handed. Check the FC thread for more information if desired.

I see that they have a new lock on stem that is a little larger in size. Do you think that a ceramic flavor disc will fit inside of the stem? The disc is roughly 11mm in diameter and 5mm in height. Ceramic Disc Thread

The small ceramic flavor disc is a little too big, even for the lock-on stems. I have them both. I have thought about using my Dremel diamond wheel to shave the disc down. If I ever do get around to doing it, I'll be sure to post an update on how it works.

Aw poop Sad Thats a good idea though to remove some material via a dremel.

I cant seem to find choreboys anywhere by me. No walmarts have em, no walgreens. nothing. Not even food stores. Driving me crazy haha. It just hit me I suppose I could buy em online.

I may still pick one of these up to have though. They seem very useful, and for $60, a great deal.

This device looks very promising.
I was simply wondering, is there any temperature control on there, so that you can make sure it doesn't go too high for DMT vaporization? Or is it already perfect for DMT the way that it is put together?

There is no temperature control. If you draw very slowly I guess the temperature could get higher than optimal, but with a medium or fast draw like you need for DMT, I don't think there is any danger of burning.

This is pretty intriguing. I like how the burning butane passes around a heat exchanger so you're not breathing it in. Very clever.
