Hello all!
This weekend I finally started making my first couple batches of changa!
Since this was my first time making the changa, I think I went a little heavy on the ISO in a couple of the batches, I was wondering if it would be effective to put my jars containing the changa in a food dehydrator to speed up the process. I don't want to do anything if it will compromise the potency of my changa, I would rather just wait it out :]

My changa blends each have a 1:1 Spice:leaf ratio, with 200mg harmalas for every gram of spice in the mixture. The harmalas, and spice were dissolved in enough 91% alcohol to cover the herbs.

yea a dehydrator would work well.

but for smoking you will want to re-moisten the herb a little bit.
this is easily done by putting it in a sealed container with a damp paper towel (lettuce and orange peels are said to work too - make sure the paper towel isn't directly contacting the herb).

but that is the case even if you don't use a dehydrator. so dehydrate away

Thanks! The dehydrator worked wonders. There was no temperature control, and it got pretty warm so I kept a fan blowing on the changa the whole time to keep it from getting too hot.
:] Can't wait to try this stuff!!!
