Hello all; I've been an avid psychonaut for about two years now, starting with heavy cannabis (ab)use. After exploring psilocybin and LSD I decided to revert to cannabis as I wanted a more spiritual experience. I heard about DMT a few months back and I was very intrigued. I've been searching for a means to acquire it, as it is rare where I live. I was considering obtaining phalaris seeds and extracting my own, since I have been known to have a green thumb Thumbs up however, I discovered mimosa and have been considering that as well. There are many plants in my area that appear to be plants that may contain DMT, but I am unsure and naturally I don't want to put any unknown plants into my body. I'm not exactly a plant specialist, I apologize if I am wasting your time. I made this account in the hopes that somebody could identify any of these plants. Stay tuned for pictures.

plant ID isn't one of my strengths...especially young plants. It seems there are many more knowledgable folks here, so prob just a matter of time until you get an ID..

Heya, welcome to the nexus!

I'm no expert, but I'll take some guesses with your photos:

First one looks like albizia juliabrissin.
Second one looks like coffee? Psychotria Alba? Not sure
Third one, I have no idea.

Knowing what general area you're in would help quite a bit.
Edit: Ohhhhhh...I see you're in florida.

none of those plants are likely to have active alkaloids, if that is what you are asking

Thank you friends! I figured they would all be non psychoactive, I was hoping to get lucky, as I found all three of these growing on my property Very happy I was just anxious; I'm waiting on my morning glory seeds in the mail; and my poppies will take a whole grow season. Judging by my impatience, I'm thinking I'll grow phalaris.

Eh, might as well start growing some long-term plants too. But yes, phalaris for impatience. Check out companionplants. They have AQ1 strain of aquatica, and from what I've read, that's the strain to get.

Peace,

I think the middle one is a young gardenia. Not active, but beautiful smelling flowers in the spring. Smile

Shackdaddy,

I thought you might find this article interesting:

50 Common Native Plants Important In Florida's Ethnobotanical History

It's not necessarily about DMT plants, but is very interesting.

Table 3, near the bottom, holds the gold. :-)
