SWIM is going on a road trip to a place with thermal waters rich in sulfur, sodium, calcium, magnesium, oligothermal "slightly radioactive"(saying in an article),and he was wandering if this waters can be good or dangerous for some extractions? in a search for higher yield,he his saying it will research and post, but he wants some opinions, or a other way to ionize the mixture to pull more.He is using CybTek and he says that is great, but never had more 1.3 from 50gMHRB.
Thx

2.6% yield is quite a bit.. pretty sure the max is 3% at best..

Any ion is going to increase its ionic strength, further increasing yeilds, but considering the use of salt to maximize ionic strength, the original ionic content of the water is not a factor. These ions are present in almost all tap water.

Which also goes to show that rick salt made for deicing roads that has minor barium contaminants and other heavy metals is okay to use too.
