Hey all. The last two ayahuasca ceremonies, I've had strong experiences, but no purge. I had a strange feeling not of letting something go, but having the medicine remain in me? Strange i know. But I don't understand, as I've had a few aggressive purges from this batch. The nausea is strong for some time, then disappears. I drink the sludge, I don't eat for 4-5 hrs before, and eat light the whole day. I'd be grateful if anyone could offer insight. Thank you  and anything ive posted is an illusion and i do not condone any of it

Not really a mystery or anything. Some times you just don't purge, especially, it seems, if its already done a lot of work cleaning you out in the past The majority of the times i've drank i actually haven't purged. Although, as the dose really increases, so does my chances of puking. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, i always welcome the purge

yea im one of those people. I never purged which I found really weird. Actually when I first started trying to make ayahuasca. I always purged every time it DIDNT work cause the taste was so horrid at first (i was using mimosa though. ugh tannis). but once I got used to it and when it finally worked... I didnt purge and every time ive ever taken ayahuasca and it worked I didnt puke. So it depends on the brew and the person. I think the way its made traditionally also has alot more sediment in it and stuff that will pretty much guarentee a purge >< “The quest is to be liberated from the negative, which is really our own will to nothingness. This is the first time I've experienced this, so I was a little unglued! Thanks for settling my mind, guys and anything ive posted is an illusion and i do not condone any of it

I purge but I am not a very big person and find the medicine strong. Maybe you can take more if you want to experience the purge?
Also bigmack comment about the sediment is true. When i purge, that is what the body is expelling in my experience.

From what I have heard it's rather common that the need to purge after drinking ayahuasca is reduced if you have used it many times.
Have you been drinking ayahuasca many times? Maybe your body has adapted in some way so that you no longer need to purge if you don't want to.

Im one who almost never purges as i have eaten [san pedro macho]. cactus powder and ...
.. T Perufianus cactus powder also...
I do feel light naseua but I never puke!
The native americans have belefe that one will not purge on peyote if the their spirit is pure..
This is not a proven fact just a beleife of peyote [mescaline] using tribes..
I probibly just have a strong stomach...
But then..I probibly would purge if i were to ingest an oral DMT and MAOI combo..
