My journey starts a couple of years ago when I heard about the stories others told about their use of Salvia Divinorum. During this period of time in my life I was strong into studying Buddhism and psychology to better understand myself. From the people around me and without sounding too narcissistic I believe I was the best person who was "right" in the head and accepted my own strengths and limitations.

As I came to believe that the experiences of these trips wholly depends on the psychology and time frame of the person. People around me called Salvia a "dirty" kind of trip which I wasn't believing during my research. It's a very subjective experience and as I said, it depends on the mind frame of the individual. To this day, 95% of the people I'm around I don't recommend them trying such experiences. I think it also depends on the respect towards the drug that is being used.

I digress. The stories sounded truly spiritual and awe inspiring. I wanted to see want that path was like and if it could bring me closer to anything divine. I researched many hours before making the journey into using Salvia. Although I didn't want anyone I trusted to sit with me during the experience I decided to use someone who didn't know what to expect either. I was nervous beyond belief and so was she.

Two hits and I was off into a wonderful world of pure enlightenment. I was like a child again see a new world and experiencing the joy of this new universe. Literally, I had the most unadulterated laugh I have EVER had. Through all of my trips there seemed to be some "entity(ies)" trying to communicate with me during this process.

The last time I did Salvia before it was outlawed...the entity(ies) told me through thought..."we have more to show you"...and I've waited. Now is my time to continue my path towards my enlightenment. I hope to use DMT to progress.

I'm excited to learn more from this forum and glad to see the sharing of knowledge so far. Truly a virtual place to call home. Thank you for having me here...

Well, it sounds like you've come to the right place! I thik you'll find that this forum is an endless spring of knowledge, information and wisdom on the subjects you have mentioned (and countless others).

I too have heard people refer to the salvia experience as "dirty" and "evil", but most of the people I have heard say these things were using the plant with the sole intention of "getting high". I agree that the effects that are brought on by these plants and compounds can be extremely dependent on what the individual brings into the experience and expects to get out of it. An individual's respect, or lack therof, for a substance can most definitely have a tremendous effect on a their subjective psychedelic experience.

Welcome to The Nexus! I hope you find here what you are looking for, and then some! Smile
