Michal_R,

After feeling somewhat frustrated and going back and reading your earlier post on your interpretation of Mckenna's words, I feel like I've hit the crux of our disagreement!

(Please correct me if I'm wrong)

You took his words to be a commentary on the broader anthropological concept of culture.

I took his words to be a commentary on problematic aspects of "dominant culture".

I went back and listened to his spiel again and to be honest...there's a bunch of the abstract and a bunch of the concrete. I can't say for sure which commentary he was giving.

To rib myself from earlier...maybe both? There's no need for dualities, eh?

But seriously...I don't know.
