Hi everyone,
I'm going to be doing an extraction later this week again with a much higher amount of bark, so this time I can afford a little experimenting by changing some of the variables.
But, this is the first time I'm using pre-powdered bark and I remember something being mentioned in Noman's tek that if you use pre-powdered you should double the water. Is this true?
Obviously I grind my bark before an extraction anyway and yes there are some fibrous tissues and other very fine powder, but this pre-powdered is all powder and no stringy stuff, is this what makes the difference?
I hope I don't have to DOUBLE my water because I only have two 1 litre mason jars which I can only do 50g at a time in each and this would take me twice as many extractions to use up all the bark.
Also if I'm doubling my water content then what should I do with my lye content? And salt for that matter because I use salt in the early phase to push more DMT across into the NPS.
Anyway, some advice from those experienced using this method with powdered bark would be greatly welcomed.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

if your worried you could do a few acid boils on the bark, then disgard the bark and reduce the boils to fit in a litre jar. if you don't want to do the boils then I know from experience that at least 100g of powdered bark will work fine in a 1l jar.

I think you can keep the base the same as long as when its all added the solution goes black.
