Few days ago i did my first extraction off mhrb - about 0.5 g spice out of 50g mhrb. It contains some impurities, but this is my first extraction, so i am happy with it.
I'll go over a detailed diary of extraction, i started writting it, but want to spend more time on it, so it's better written.
For my first smoking i made enhanced leaf with 0.1 g spice/ 0.1 g lime (that i use to make tea). I used the warm water bath tek, since i had no IPA or acetone, and im not still aware of how to make changa the right way. Ill be doing this for my next meetings with dmt.
On smoking i had the fractal visions and feeling of beautiful embracing love, but didn't get to breakthrough.
I will elaborate more completely on my experience in a dedicated report. I have another thing i want to share here.
I read tons of threads and post on smoking these days. I know i am unexperienced smoker and that 0.1 g of spice that i 'smoked' two days ago, probably burned and i did not have sufficient dose to inhale. My head felt like it was going to explode, but i wasn't scared. I felt that my brain, my nose and the tip of my tongue started vibrating ,literary, with some other form of energy. Then the fractal visuals started.
I suppose i'd have needed two more stable hits to hold about 20 secs each. What i want to discuss here is my method of smoking and what i intend to do.
I did a simple bong out of plastic bottle. Drilled a hole, in which i put a glass pipe. On the bottle neck i made a bed of stainless steel mesh. There is dedicated place to hold the smoking herb. On the top i place the same steel screen, but wrapped around itself few times, so it forms few layers, thus bigger surface to spread heat. I use an ordinary lighter, which i lit from like 6-8 cm off the top layer of steel screen, that would be about 10 cm from the herb/spice mix. Although i was trying to be careful, i know a lot of spice burnt.
Is it too stupid idea to make a bed of thin wires (copper), on the bottom and on top of the changa? I think my metal screen isn't doing too good work for preventing dmt from pyrolysis.
Can the spice that inhale be contaminated with something from the heated copper wire?
Are thin wires a good environment to treat melted dmt? Would there be any toxins released when doing that
I plan to use some high quality speaker-cable for that?
