How many ml's of Xylene should be used to pull 1 gram of DMT? "If you do not have a plan you will become a pawn in someone else's" T.M.

Hydrochloric acid is really good also, adjust to PH4 and do 3 times@45mins each. But i'm new and there are so many teks, so all the best! Yeah, I think I'll just gently simmer it. And I am also new there, so welcome I guess ^^

inextweekelorp wrote:How many ml's of Xylene should be used to pull 1 gram of DMT? The size and amount of your pulls, regardless of the solvent you're using, should depend on the amount of organic material you start from and (to a much lesser extent) the volume of the aqeous solution it's sitting in... When x amount of solvent can dissolve y aount of dmt, this does not mean that x amount of solvent will be able to pull y amount of dmt from a basic solution... If you read some teks that use xylene as a solvent you will get a good idea of what ratio of organic material/aqeous solution/solvent to use... Hope this helps (which it probably won't) My avatar was taken from google images and is actually a work of art by NEIL GIBSON, credit where credit is due! Is it okay if i use a plastic container for the freeze precip ?
I am currently doing an extraction on 50 gr of mhrb with 200 ml solvent (zippo lighter fluid) - 4 pulls X 50 ml ? I'm going to combine all the pulls in one container for freeze precip because of freezer space issues. So can i use a platic tupperware-type container? I have a glass baking dish that i can use instead, but it would be harder to seal-wrap it tightly, as for the plasic container has a lid that fits pretty tight and i will isolate it additionally? I don't want to contaminate my fridge? Is it okay if i use that plastic container or the solvent could dissolve it?

It will work...but scraping the xtals off will be a nightmare and will invariably scrape some plastic of into the mix... Just use a jam jar if you can't find a glass, flat bottomed dish. Food wrap and an elastic band is fine for a seal Please do not PM tek related questions Reserve the right to change your mind at any given moment.

Yes, my initial plan is to use that flat glass baking dish and seal it food-wrap and elastic bands Thanks for your help, Cyb! Feedback appreciated!

Food wrap is also plastic and will degrade from solvent fumes as well... better to use a glass cover or aluminium foil I think... well prolly not aluminium right cause it will oxidize in the presence of strong acids or bases... "If you do not have a plan you will become a pawn in someone else's" T.M.

When freezing your pulls there will be no acid or base present My avatar was taken from google images and is actually a work of art by NEIL GIBSON, credit where credit is due! Bodies don't have souls - souls have bodies Old enough to know better, young enough to try again

What solvent do you guys use? I wanted to use Ronsonos, but heard that it doesn't contain naphtha anymore.

Depends on who you're asking... Always do an evaporation test before using any solvent... "Waschbenzin" (in German) is what you should be looking for - available in most European countries... Does anybody know if dmt-citrate will pass through a coffee filter or not? (while in aqueous solution)... Just a little question, when I wanna use Cyb's Hybrid Tek and use 65g of MHRB, is multiplying lye, naphtha and water by 1,3 fine? Because 65g is 1,3 times more than 50g

keep the levels the same, as long as it goes good and black after basing you will be fine. I use the max ion tek and have done 100g in 1 1 litre jar and it worked just as well as 50g. INHALE, SURVIVE, ADAPT it's all in your mind, but what's your mind??? fool of the year

Can a high ionic strength be detrimental to crystal formation in a water crystallisation process? I think both ionic strength and crystal formation are related to inter- or intra-molecular forces, but does that mean there is a direct correlation between ionic strength and crystal formation, or not? Sorry if this is "too advanced" a question to post here (lol) but I'm looking for a swift reply and my question may go unnoticed in its current location in a thread in the adv. chem. section PLUR My avatar was taken from google images and is actually a work of art by NEIL GIBSON, credit where credit is due! Yea. Ask that in the advanced chem section. I don't think anyone that knows the basics behind the extraction process is gonna know the correlation between ionic strength and crystal formation in an h2o solution.
