I have been drinking ayahuaska for 2 months in Iquitos, Peru with some freinds, in the forest.
Then I have been with a shaman ( don fransico montes) for 5 months.
There I did "diet" with plants.
About every month, I would change the plant I was dieting.
I would consume the plant, and sing its "Iqaro".
We did 2 ayahuska ceremonies a week.
I dieted with Ajo sacha, chuyachaki caspi, kuma seva, altaruna, and remo caspi.
It was a very healing and profound experience.
It was about 8 years ago.
Since the travel to Peru, I havent done ayahuska again.
I plan to do ayahuska again in 3 weeks.
I have ordered acacia confusa, and I have syrian rue.
I also cultivate psychtria viridis, carthagenesis, and B. Capii.
I think to mix a few sage essential oil(salvia officinialis) in my brew.
I use now sage daily, chewing leaves.
I suffer from attention deficit disorder, and depression , and it helps a lot.

How was your experience with Don Francisco Montes? Can you tell us more about it.

Why did you decide to go Peru in the first place?

Don fransisco, is specializing in connecting poeple with plants.
He himlef doesnt speak much with you, since its the plants who are doing the job.
So the plant you are dieting with, follows you all day and night.
It probably doesnt work, if you just take the plant alone without being initiated by him.
He knows which plant you need at which stage.
Also in the ceremonies, he give you the right amount of ayhuska, that you need.
During the ceremony, he blows mapacho( nicotina rustica) on you, to help direct
the experience.
He also give you messages from the plants.
So basically, my experience has been like being in school of the plants.
In a very systematic way, the have been teaching and healing me, each plant on its time, in its own stage.
So its not like taking ayahuska periodically.
The healing and teaching has been very systematic organized and profound by the plants.

Sounds really interesting, I have heard of Don Francisco just a few weeks ago for the first time through youtube where you can find a lot of his Icaros which I thought sounded really lovely.
