Hi Nexians!

I have tried to find it on my own but I failed so here I am asking this question one more time. The question is as follows? If I decide to wash my spice with sodium carbonate (the spice looks atm very nice slightly yellowish without red or dark spots, oils or other unwanted materials inside but still I want to learn the process of purifying by washing it)
So i now that i have produced 1g of freebase how do I wash it. When i say how I mean what are the meassurements of other things involved in washing process. How much of sodium carbonate to mix with how much of destilled water also how do I mix it all together? I am going to pull it out with zipo lighter naphta when process is done since heptane is "mission impossible where I live. The question is also will i loose some spice in the proces and how much? I prefer health over quantity and i belive anyone with common sense does. I also learned not to throw anything away untill everything is 100% finished.
Now i really want to learn how to do it if anyone in here would fancy to explain it to me?

I would really love to learn how to do it so come on good people enlighten me.

If you have off colour spice and want to clean it to get whiter product...just Re-X it...
Nothing wrong with off colour anyway...that's what it looks like and it's fine to use.

Not sure why you would want to wash with sodium carb.

To wash with carb...dissolve the freebase back into warm solvent, add a few pinches of carb to some water, add same amount of water/carb (as you have solvent) to the solvent, shake it up a few times, separate (pull) and freeze precipitate the solvent...done.
