Greetings all, I am very new so please be gentle haha

I am not sure if this is already posted in a thread, if it is I would appreciate it very much if I was directed to it Smile although I have researched on a few threads here, I am very new to posting and I'm having a difficult time navigating the posts directly. Any help would be much appreciated Smile

I am having a difficult time producing good results with acacia confusa root bark. I got it from Hawaii after failing miserably with a UK source, 2.5 kilos wasted >.< My friend and I have worked with mhrb and produced amazing results. Just having a tough time with this new material. I'm wondering if an stb extract should work with acrb or if we should just take the time and extra work necessary to do an a/b tek? We've tried both but after researching I'm not so sure we did either of them correctly. I am pretty much learning the whole process from my buddy and haven't had much hands on work with it myself. I want to do be able to do this on my own since he has gotten very sloppy in past year from an opiate addiction :/ it has started affecting every aspect of the project (plus starting to affect our relationship, which sucks) which is costing a lot of money, to say the least.

I know I can handle doing this on my own, I am very precise when following directions. I have just been under his wing and he feels the need to micro-manage everything and gets very moody very easily so it's been difficult to fly on my own.

Can someone please just help me with information on an tek is desirable for acacia confusa and also let me know if the stb tek for mhrb would work for it please please please Smile

Thanks to anyone who will help this little birdy fly!!!

Well, you can see the results I'm getting over in this thread, https://www.dmt-nexus.me...amp;m=503864#post503864. It's stb, and written very simply, very basic. My bark is also from Hawaii. Try a 100 or 50 gram test extraction and judge for yourself. I'm not even bothering with the more complex teks since I'm have such great results and it is so freaking easy, even easier than mimosa stb.

But some people only get goo.....I don't know why, maybe I'm lucky or just got quality bark....

I read that post and tried replying before I figured out that I needed to be approved as a member prior to being able to replying to posts haha and you were the first to reply to my thread...pretty ironic. I was only curious of which of the acacia root barks you were using or if that matters. What do you think? I've heard good things about acacia and will be one happy traveller when I get this figured out! Very happy

Thanks for such a speedy reply!

What makes you say that an acacia STB is easier than a mimosa STB? It is pretty much the exact same process...

I say that because I always used a hot bath with mimosa, which I don't have to do with acacia. And maybe you don't have to do a hot bath with mimosa, I don't know, that was the way I started, and it worked, so I did the hot bath. So I skip that step with acacia, so it is slightly easier. I like easy. I am lazy.

It is root bark, from Hawaii, an organic, ethically harvested acacia root bark. I got it in whole pieces, very tough to powderize. It is my first time working with acacia, and I love it. If you still have trouble getting crystals, you can always make an acacia tea with the maoi of your choice, which I also love; and evidently the acacia is active without an maoi, but for a shorter duration.

Cool I think I'm getting the same stuff from the same people haha seems like a reliable source. I will look over the tek you posted carefully and see if I did a similar procedure.
I do have a red caapi vine extract for an maoi so I might try that with some root bark powder on my next order.

Thanks much friend Thumbs up
