Hello all,

I have been researching extraction for a while now and have come to a point where I cannot find any information about the effects of negative pressure on various stages of the extraction process. Such as:

A) Would introducing negative pressure during the acid phase help pull any extra DMT out? Does this negative pressure effect the solubility of dmt in these solutions at all?

B) Would using a vacuum purging system during the naptha wash (left partially open to allow for partial gas exchange) in a deep freezer cause denser crystals to form?

Thanks so much

1. No idea
2. Positive pressure will cause denser crystals to form.
