My last aya trip i stayed in my friends SUV for what seemed like forever but, was only in there alone for 2 hours eyes closed the whole time. Parts where scary but i had a family there and would come to my aid anytime i called for them. But there was one older presence there an older wiser part of my family which felt like the leader. He shared his knowledge and wisdom with me and everytime i was around him i had this (best way i can describe it) vibration deep inside of my mind/spirit. Has anyone else experienced this? I felt like i had almost reached enlightenment. I was one with everything. The greatest feeling i've had to date!

I was curious as to others experiences similar to mine and what you got out of it.

Had similar experiences, sure... but for me that state seems to be temporary with ayahuasca... soo I'm trying to see if I can somehow maintain that awareness naturally, perpetually through meditation.

Still working on that one Thumbs up But, in all fairness, if it wasn't for aya, I would have never even had the pleasure of that particular experience, so it certainly is an enriching one in many ways; offers a different perspective through the looking glass which we are not commonly exposed to

Do what you can with what you got and make the most out of it Razz

I just started meditating today. Was a little hard. Tried focusing on my breath etc. I seem to loose thought and feeling of my body but, only for short periods of time. Until something takes my attention away.

I definitely am thankful for aya giving me that experience. It's made me start to want to better myself/health (not that i think myself a bad person. Everyone has things in their life they can clean up a bit Very happy) mainly spiritually. I've lacked anything such as that and want to delve into it and embrace it. If aya has taught me anything its that I lack spirituality and it is very important.

It is a great feeling, yes? Sometimes, in deep encounters with the molecule, I Know everything.........if only for a few seconds.......though I forget that Knowing pretty quickly.......

Was it Bashar who said the best way to achieve enlightenment is to Lighten Up?

My brief moments of--I hesitate to use the word "enlightenment" for the same reason I avoid the "G-Word" when describing divinity.......I'll just call it brief moments of Cosmic Lucidity........it has strengthened my goal to achieve these states unaided. I built a meditation chamber for practice; it's not fancy, just a wooden lightproof box. The molecule has also strengthened my desire to lucid dream and have OBE's (only had one consciously directed OBE so far). Though, my desire for these things has been there since I was 18, the molecule has motivated me to keep at it.
Fear, belief, love phenomena that determined the course of our lives. These forces begin long before we are born and continue after we perish. We cross and recross our old paths like figure skaters; our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.

I see what you're saying regarding the quest for spiritual fulfillment, just don't deny the rest of your system in that expression... what I mean here is that you also have a physical body which needs to be taken care of (as you've mentioned attention to health) as well as your mind and heart... look at it as an expression of the total system, and do what you can to work on it as a whole, everything else will follow suit. You want to grow and expand into every direction of life, and that will also enrich your spiritual expression as well; ideally you want to work towards harmony of the system as one functioning whole. Take life as a whole thing, one total unity; nothing is to be denied or rejected, proper and direct penetrative understanding of the thing itself will give you it's proper function and utility. Do what you can with what you got

It's not enlightenment that you seek, but rather the realization that you already are enlightened.

Trying to become enlightened will do no good if you already are. This experience can help to show you this, but it is not meant to tell you "you are enlightened if you feel _____, and you're not if you don't".
