Has anyone ever done this?

https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=16418 I found this with a quick google search and am wondering if this has happened to anyone else mainly.

Brewing ayahuasca with fumaric acid sounds inferior to brewing with lemon really since even a small amount will make the brew taste really bad but, but im wondering if it would be better at getting the DMT out of the plant possibly.
If the amount needed to effectivly acidify the brew makes a person sick, obviously this wouldn't be a good acid to use.

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

Fumaric acid doesn't really taste any worse than lemon juice (it's tastes pretty similar to citric actually), and is used in cooking (I get mine from a spice shop). Don't underestimate the ability of lemon juice to make you puke, I once had a violent purge after consuming a brew that had too much lemon in it (I felt sick immediately).

It's worth a shot, but I doubt it would make any difference really.

Exactly, there is really no need to add acid in the brew - anything you add, you will have to gulp it afterwards in a more concentrated form. If you are in doubt that "dmt won't get out of the plant", then do an extra boil on your preparation.
