I thought this was way too easy to work. I got an extraction tek from a website, sounded too easy........

1: 600 ml purified water in a jar.

2: Add 100 grams lye to the jar, shake & let it sit for an hour.

3: Add 100 grams powdered acacia to the jar, Shake shake shake, set aside for an hour.

4: Add Naphtha, and gently swirl and turn the jar, do this every few hours for twenty four hours.

5: Pull naphtha and put it in a small container; into the freezer with you!

6: After 24-48 hours, take the jar out of the freezer, pull the naphtha and add it to your acacia jar; dry crystal.

7: Vape that mother.

The original recipe said to pull the naphtha after an hour, which I did, but I got nothing but white goo from doing that. So I left the jar alone for 24 hours, shaking occasionally, and with my second pull got nice white crystals. Not much, but I'm not done with my pulls yet, and from the look of things I'm going to get a lot of pulls from this.

I was skeptical, too, but it worked. This is my first time working with acacia, so I am pleased. Also, this morning I tried an acacia brew with 15 grams acacia, 11 grams Syrian Rue, which I cooked down with the standard 3 half hour boils. Potent stuff! Terrible tasting, but that's just the price of admission.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Yeah, I just didn't think it would be so easy. I've got a kilo, so I'll try other methods as well.

Thanks for sharing a process that worked for you. Seems like a standard STB.

Some feedback on it:

Shaking is a bad recommendation, it tends to generate emulsions. Luckily seems you didn`t have any, but it`s certainly a possibility. To avoid such trouble, don`t shake, stir instead.

Also, I know it was a joke, but please edit your post to change the `shake like a bitch` comment, we rather avoid such kind of language here in the Nexus.

Lastly, your acacia and rue brew seems excessive on dosage, thankfully you didn`t have a too-strong experience, maybe not strong enough plant material or you have a natural tolerance. No need to go over 4g with rue for most people, and with acacia I`d also advice taking at most half the amount you took at first, before one finds their own ideal dosage.

Okeedokee, edited the offending word, added a parenthesis advising to swirl, not shake. Though, the first pull was from a gently swirled jar, the second I shook.

And, my tolerance for rue and the molecule is higher than most; I suppose it's a "don't try this at home, kids" kind of situation, since I am going to up my acacia dose to twenty grams, and keep the rue at eleven. Again, I am an anomaly with tolerance, a rare freak who just needs more than the average bear. I have been working with the molecule for just over four years now, so I know my body and what it takes to get me "there" quite well.

**edit: I will say that my acacia brew was just to test the bark; it'll probably be a long time before I make tea. I prefer pharma, so I can control the dmt dose better.

Yeah, baby! I now love acacia more than mimosa! It is easier to extract from, I get a much higher yield, whiter crystals. Long live acacia!

Photo of my second pull..............

Are you shure your bark is acacia?
STB tec works better with mimosa...
With acacia full freezing is not nessasery ..just reduce napatha till the napatha becomes very dmt rich then let sealed jar sit overnight [about 15 hours] at room temp or slightly cooler than room temp..
In morning napatha should be clear with crystals stuck to bottom and sides of jar...
that simple...

It is acacia. I didn't know it would crystallize just at room temp, I'm so used to working with mimosa and freezing, but I'll definitely give it a try on this next pull.

600ml of water for 100g of bark seems like an emulsion waiting to happen, especially with excessive shaking. Next time try 1000-1500ml for 100g of bark and you might have an easier time with polar/non-polar separation. I'd be willing to bet there is a good bit of your NPS stuck in that alkaline soup...

The solvent has to be really saturated for this to happen. Feel free to experiment, but the results you got from freezing aren't bad compared to some others I have looked at.

I seem to be very lucky as I've done countless extractions (mostly with mimosa), and shook the living hell out of this first acacia extraction, and have never had an emulsion. I don't shake the jars like that anymore, though. And I am always looking to improve, so, thanks, I'll give your advice a try.
