Greetings all, I want to start off my essay introducing myself with my most intense DMT experience that still leaves me wondering. This was my second experience and the most odd of them all, I spoke to myself and my best friend's future doppelgangers. I've never experienced such an odd yet surprisingly familiar place ever. It all began on a calm afternoon I was in my room with a close friend to observe and listen. I prepared my DMT and took in a couple of nice big hits and I started hearing an intense buzzing as I laid down. As my head hit the bed I immediately felt as though nothing had happened and that I didn't trip at all. I rolled over to tell my friend nothing had happened but much to my amazement it had worked- I was not even in the same room any longer!

I awoke on what I took to be a futon in a screened in back porch, with a glass coffee table covered in the usual. There was a couch as well that the two spirits of our future selves sat. Mine noticed I was awake and addressed me by handing me a bowl to smoke with them. I was so awe struck in the trip that I cannot remember even communicating or what was even spoken of but we talked for what seemed like hours. The only thing I remember from the conversation and bowl smoking was that they knew I was going to be in the situation I have for the past year, and told me everything would turn out for the better from it. Keeping in mind that this experience was prior to everything bad happening (long story, just bad things have been kicking me back 10 feet for every step i take forward.) So the spirits knew what was going to happen and know the outcome, which I am still yet to experience. The year is almost over now, and I am starting to see a light at the end somehow though!

After the bowl was finished the two spirits left me on the futon and walked back into the house. I made an attempt to continue talking but I came back to this world on my bed all too soon. I immediately rambled off what happened in sheer joy to my friend and she told me what I had told her. Parts of the experience were beyond words to even describe but left me something to return to I feel, which is why I have felt such a strong almost a calling from DMT to revisit these spirits. I'm working towards that now as I type this, and I strongly believe it is time for me to find out the next part of this story. DMT has led me to strongly believe in a collective unconscious or subconsciousness. I have definitely become a stronger person and a better man from the experience, and have advised many others that perhaps at a certain point in their life they need to experience this as well.

Wow..your experience sounds amazing. I hope to begin my travels, soon...You use the word, "doppleganger." Just curious, did your future self look similar to how you look now?

Sounds good! I'm glad it was positive for you . I too have experienced talking to my future self and my best friends spirit self it was quite interesting. I've been told that my life is going to change tremendously and be infinitely better. Ive been seeing that change happen slowly but surely. Congrats on your experience, it sounds amazing!

Thanks for the comments. And upload, yes, my future self looked similar. As did my friend's. Just aged maybe ten years or so. I'm anxious to revisit soon.

What a trip! I've read many of the descriptions of experiences on this site. It seems some see "people" in other forms, such as figures of light/spirits, or even animals, and they seem to know who this person is, even though he/she is manifested in a different form. That was the reason I asked the strange question. Anyway, welcome. I'm new here, too.

It's all good, I like strange questions. Anyway, nice to meet you here on the nexus. I myself can't tell you exactly if this is what they looked like, but apparently the beings projected themselves well. I've had a friend who said they had communicated with a hippo in a body of water before so I would assume these spirits can appear however they please to us. There's always more than what meets the eye.
