Does anyone know why #6 and #9 look colorful? It almost looks like those snowflakes originated from evaporated gasoline or something. Perhaps "acid snow"?...***note to self: acid snow sounds like a great nick name for LSDMT*** "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein

Those are just incredible! Global, The colors are caused by thin film light interference. It is the same reason why soap bubbles are colorful. There is no real color to the soap bubbles or the water in the snowflakes, the colors come from the thin film cancelling out certain frequencies of light, while allowing others to pass through. Which colors are cancelled and which are not is a product of the thickness, so you are actually seeing a colorful depiction of the thickness of the film. Now, snow with acid in it may be colorful for a completely different reason.....assuming the observer ate some snow recently. Be an adult only when necessary.

Gorgeous. Darn, Peabody beat me to my answer. Interference it is. In my country, the legal go-to psychoactive substance is ethanol. Sometimes my friends get wasted and tell the craziest stories about how they go out at night to harvest strange grasses in the light of the full moon. They claim to meet elves, white light and jaguars. These are their stories.

So cool, unbelievable perfect geometric patterns... "It permits you to see, more clearly than our perishing mortal eye can see, vistas beyond the horizons of this life, to travel backwards and forwards in time, to enter other planes of existence, even (as the Indians say) to know God." To me they are like an embodiment of nature itself; beautiful, complex interesting and psychedelic. Does anyone know why they are symetrical?
Heres an idea, get fresh snow and add a sprinkling of sodium carbonate and gently mix it up outside in the cold. Place in dmt and hold a piece of paper over the top of the glass. Get another slightly larger glass and secure a good filter over the top. Turn first glass upside down and carefuly place it inside 2nd glass. Leave in house for snow to melt and to filter through hopefully with impurities in. Remove first glass and dry the filter with clean extract on. Dont know wether that would work ?
