Dear nexians,

my girlfriend was inspired by these pipes and decided to make me happy by creating a lovely changa pipe for me. This you can see in the pictures. It represents two lizards intensely hugging each other. The white spots on their back are actually glow in the dark. She feels inspired to further develope her pipe making skills Smile. What are your thoughts about it?

And, I have a small question, about (presumably) changa that I've made. I dissolved freebase DMT in Isopropanol, mixed this with Caapi leaves (1:1) and then let the Isopropanol dissolve. Is such mixture referred to as changa or as enhanced leaf? My English made me confused when I read different topics about this. And, because of the small amount of Caapi leaves, do the leaves have their MAO-inhibiting function when smoked?

Thanks in advance,

the best to you,
zehnli.

Sweet!

Smoalk moar Changa!
In my country, the legal go-to psychoactive substance is ethanol. Sometimes my friends get wasted and tell the craziest stories about how they go out at night to harvest strange grasses in the light of the full moon. They claim to meet elves, white light and jaguars. These are their stories.

Man, that's really cool of her, congrats Thumbs up

Proper "changa" usually means adding either harmala extracts, or by making 10x caapi leaf prior to infusing with your spice. Straight caapi leaf will have a little bit of mao inhibition, but is much more effective with additional harmalas.
Have a look at this thread, it covers both the 10x as well as the infusion.

Words are just words but yeah technically that's changa, even though it will have pretty little maoi-effect. Its still a great blend though and different than straight freebase in my experience. Not to mention changa is just all around easier to handle and smoke.

Nice pipe...You should marry that girl!

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

Really beautiful pipe! What a wonderful gift. Smile May I ask about the mediums your girlfriend used and perhaps the method? I love making things and would love to try making a pipe for myself, one day.
We are the local embodiment of a Cosmos grown to self-awareness. We have begun to contemplate our origins: starstuff pondering the stars; organized assemblages of ten billion billion billion atoms considering the evolution of atoms; tracing the long journey by which, here at least, consciousness arose. Our loyalties are to the species and the planet. We speak for Earth. Our obligation to survive is owed not just to ourselves but also to that Cosmos, ancient and vast, from which we spring.

Thanks for the nice replies! I do feel blessed with her indeed Smile

How she did it? She bought a simple pipe, made from a small metal tube and a metal thimble, and decorated it with fimo-clay. Then she baked it in the oven, and then painted it with acryllic paint. After that she applied the glow in the dark fimo-clay, and baked it again. She finished it with varnish, which gives a shiny effect (and hadn't been applied on the time of the pictures). Oh, and she is a wonderful creative spirit, that probably helped too.

The best to you,
zehnli.
