I have been doing some research lately about DMT and I am pretty amused by it. I am very keen on trying it. I just wanted to ask, can there any harmful effects if I consume DMT in a safe quantity, since I have never experienced any kind of trip before this. I would love to have some suggestions from experience holders.

Hi there debajyoti_das, first you might want to take a look here https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...s_Wiki:Health_and_Safety .

DMT is not the most potent psychedelic by weight, but the most powerful all around in my opinion. If you have no experience with psychedelics I would suggest starting with low dosages and read up on general safety and precautions.

If you want to become more involved in the forum and access other areas a good start is to write an into essay here: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...t.aspx?g=topics&f=47 .

Taking a "safe" amount of anything isn't going to have harmful side effects. But with dmt I don't think any amount is going to have any physical ramifications on your body. But something to be aware of, which I think you are slightly, is the powerful effect it might have on your psyche. Psychadelics are truely profound and might alter the way you think. A large majority of people consider these changes beneficial. Be wary of how these experiences might effect youur loved ones.

I would recommend a low dose of mushrooms, as a prelude to a dmt breakthrough. DMT comes on fast and hard, and its difficult to get your bearings once the ride begins. But if you have no psychedelic reference points, it might just leave you dumbfounded. If DMT is to be your first trip, make sure you don't breakthrough immediately.

I recently had my first 2 experiences with DMT and found them to be the most powerful and profound experiences of my life. I went in believing that I would be experiencing nothing more than my own brain's power, I came out convinced that DMT is a gateway to a place where we're dealing with beings that have a mind and an intelligence separate of our own.
I wrote a little about my experience in a thread here, I encountered an entity that healed me and allowed me live fully again, since that experience I have noticed that not only do I not really experience negative emotions for long anymore but a few years ago I lost hair through stress, the hair follicles died and I was told that it would not regrow in those areas, as of this week I have stubble growing through in those areas.. I am pretty sure that this could only be down to whatever the entity did to me, trust me i've tried to do it myself for years..

That being said I still would recommend great caution in these experiences. A friend of mine that had agreed we would keep these experiments between just the two of us decided to share a bit with some girl one night that didn't really know what it was. We'd both done years and years of research before our experiences and this poor girl was jumping in blind. She has been a shell of her former self since apparently and everytime he tries to ask her what happened she breaks down crying, all that i've heard is that when she opened her eyes towards the end of her experience, a hand came down through the ceiling, she refuses to say anything more.

I think there's definitely a need for a lot of preparation for experiences like this.

This is very very accurate for someone to read who has yet to experience DMT.

I, like many if not all of us, do not believe that DMT is a mind bender that triggers internal "hallucinations". It literally will unlock the door to allow you to leave your body and reality as you know it behind and experience a realm far beyond ours. It is a vehicle, NOT a drug. You leave this world entirely. Once you get accustomed to a certain dosage and become familiar with the realm and if you increase your dosage because you think youre ready and want to go further and think youre prepared for what is to come on your journey, you are not prepared. It WILL do something that the imagination simply cannot come up with on its own. And it will shock you beyond words every time you think youre ready for the next step. Language simply does not have the capacity to explain what you will experience. Its something that you simply have to experience to understand, and any amount of reading will likely not prepare you. You may see familiar things on your journey that you did read about, but the actual feelings themselves are not something you can prepare for.

Certainly be safe with it and be in the proper set and setting, and while set and setting normally refers to the environment that youre in physically, with DMT, set and setting is your own mind. Be clear and be free of worry and anxiety. Do not enter it searching for something, just stay calm and sit back and allow whatever is happening to happen. Over time, you will learn to become one with these journeys, but in the beginning, allow yourself to be transported and just hang on for the ride Smile

I mean, ya know, union with the white light you could handle. An invasion of your apartment by jeweled self dribbling basketballs from hyperspace that are speaking in demonic Greek is NOT something that you anticipated and could handle!' -T.M.
