It seems I have spent most of my youth and part of my adult life searching for a doorway such as this. I have used various psychedelics in my life and had many "fun" and exciting but overall disappointing experiences. I have made attempts at OBE's, lucid dreaming, astrial travel, etc. and I feel like I have been on the verge of that "breakthrough moment" several times without actually getting there.
I am now 42, a husband, father and professional. I do not have the ability nor the desire to play around with things like LSD or mushrooms but I am still seeking that elusive "doorway". I have only just recently heard of DMT. I have enjoyed all that I've read so far but still have so much more to read. I am looking forward to this new journey and chatting with like minded and experienced travelers along the way.

I am about to begin my first extraction and already have tons of Q's....I am taking the advice written here and scrolling through as much on this site as I can.

Welcome! It's a shame you can no longer dabble with LSD and mushrooms, Maybe on your birthday lol. I have yet to dance with the dmt goddess, but I have gone through the many journeys to find 'something else' and have ended up disappointed. I'm smoking changa for the first time this weekend , I'll let you know if its truly rewarding.

Reading all of the various extraction teks really helps. I'd recommend checking out Cyb's and vovins teks. They're very well written and give excellent explanations.

Also, please don't be afraid to ask questions. You can always hop into chat for a quick answer or post in the FAQ area. People tend to be very helpful here, especially if you write clearly and explain details.

well, thing were done. I have to say i didn't breakthrough. but the strangeness of it all is unlike anything i have ever done. mdma has nothing on this level of euphoria. i realize now that i don't want to extract it. i just want to do ayahuasca. time stands still, things morph and melt, sounds get weird but overall, you are incredibly happy. moderation is key. and ayahuasca might be the preferred method.
