STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

I feel my ego differently when my perspective shifts to something outside of it; pure awareness. At that point there is no effort involved. Indeed, it's actually the melting away of effort that reveals consciousness. Thoughts, imaginings etc are consciousness - as an energy - being funnelled into a particular shape, if you will. This is my understanding so far. Smile

Wow, that's an accurate definition of how I feel on aya.

Are you sure you've never done it before?

This is awesome! I love the whole zoom-out zoom-in thing and how it loops at the end. A very well done video!

Very happy I'm sure! I am still very curious about trying DMT, I've been reading up on changa - and feel it is a more gentle beginning method. If that's how you feel on aya, it may be showing you consciousness as pure as can be. I have had 'pure consciousness' moments very briefly through meditation as well as during specific experiences on LSD, DXM and Nitrous. Curiouser and curiouser! I wonder what my hyperspace experience will be like Surprised

Cool video, brokenChild! I love the zooming in point. I have always wondered if universes are infinite because universes exist within the subatomic world and beyond. Size may be just an illusion. As Finn from Adventure Time once said, "everything small is just a smaller version of something big!" Big grin hehe
We are the local embodiment of a Cosmos grown to self-awareness. We have begun to contemplate our origins: starstuff pondering the stars; organized assemblages of ten billion billion billion atoms considering the evolution of atoms; tracing the long journey by which, here at least, consciousness arose. Our loyalties are to the species and the planet. We speak for Earth. Our obligation to survive is owed not just to ourselves but also to that Cosmos, ancient and vast, from which we spring.

I've never heard of it before! I tried googling, but there's may 'versions'. Is it a series of songs? Perhaps you can directly link me to something you recommend? I am always willing to try different things during meditation Smile

uni=one

u·ni·verse
ˈyo͞onəˌvərs/Submit
noun
1.
all existing matter and space considered as a whole; the cosmos.

Smile To sort of answer your question tho, it's a mystery within a mystery. All I can tell you is that quantum physics, on the subatomic level when we get to quantum states of matter, is even more weird and mysterious... so I can see the application of the analogy of a world within a world. Every state existing in every possible potential, and yet somehow rolled all into one singular unity. Life is nothing short of amazing

this reminds me of an interview with Quantum Physicist, John Hagelin that I recently watched. He tries to explain (as simply as possible) the Unified Field (or Super String) theory. I love how the universe is a mystery within a mystery! I also take some form of solace in knowing it is not my place to fully know the universe. Smile

the only point I was trying to make is that the universe is one; one cosmic whole.

You proposed it as multiples, of which we really have no direct verification of, only theory... as I understand it that theory stems from the same quantum string theory which suggests infinite universes

as I see it, infinite potential multiplicities in one intricate singularity.... whatever that means Laughing

Well prepare for somethin you'll never be able to prepare for. Lol

I had done lsd before and shrooms ( lots of magic) and In my mind aya is uncomparable to both of those.

I don't even consider it a drug. I was so lucid the whole time! Your in a whole other world and your still the same person thats what I love about it.

Never smoked the molecule ... Only ingested, pretty sure aya is more gentle tough... I'd start with that...

Search on youtube : "hemi-sync focus 1" and look for "discovery 1" thats the starting point... Sorry my phone can't copy links on youtube for some reason and I'm don't have my cp right now..

You should watch the documentary "what the bleep do we know" if you haven't already done so

You'd probably like it (im guessing) ...its worth a watch if you have time imo

Haha, understood. I'm not sure about the 'multiverse' concept, but as you've posited - if it was reality, then it is all still one 'universe' in that it is all a singularity; all consciousness expressing itself in infinite ways. Oh the possibilities!

This is not what I expected! But interesting indeed. I'll see what effect it has on my usual meditative practice some time soon. Thank you for the suggestion Smile
