Greetings all.
I would like to first start off by thanking those many members who have come before me and compiled, collaborated and shared the vast wealth of knowledge and experience available on this forum. I see great value in the community here as well as the supportive environment.
A little about me... I am a 25 year old male, still trying to understand what to make of this enigma that is life. I have tried a few career choices, failed at some, succeeded at other but have remained fundamentally dissatisfied. That isn't to say I am altogether unhappy, I have great friends and family and enjoy my fair share of happiness and pleasure. I feel that I have something to offer this world, and something to contribute to society, but am having a hell of a time figuring out what that is.
After reading the above, I am sure you can relate or understand my interest in psychedelics. I consider myself to have moderate experience with psychedelics in general, the most being with psilocybin (moderate to high doses) and LSD (mostly moderate doses). I have also tried Salvia a handful of times, the first of which (a few years ago, when I would consider myself a novice) was an astounding, complete loss of ego, mind melt. It was a pleasant experience(bright colours, extra-spacial dimensions, fast-paced), that left with me a much weaker grasp on my concept of reality. However, I found nothing intrinsically insightful about it.
Within the last year, my curiosity about the elusive substance DMT began to grow. I received a free sample about 6 months ago, used what I am sure was a horribly inefficient vaporizing method, and got some weak OEVs and was rather unimpressed. More recently, I have tried it 3 more times. Each experience was more powerful than the one before it, until yesterday I had a breakthrough that was completely unlike any psychedelic experience I have had previously. It was immersive and beautiful and completely foreign. I will likely go into more detail about this experience on a separate trip report. I would like to say that it gave me an absolutely new appreciation for this magical spice.
I fully intend to carry on with my exploration of hyperspace, and in the process myself. I am grateful to have all you nice people on my side and look forward to offering whatever support I can to those who need it.
