It's been almost 2 years since I have posted on this website; I want to share something I believe members here will find interesting. Since I last posted, there has been a lot more people reporting good results with ACRB. When i first started writing about my success with ACRB, there was little information available on this plant, and indeed most of it was incorrect.

Here is my story:

In 2010 i lived and went to school in Hawaii; i was enrolled in the plant biotechnology program at Windward Community College. I was very interested in plants that had been brought to the island, whether by accident or intentionally. The first species i was after was baby hawaiian woodrose; i managed to find a large amount growing on the side of a busy freeway. In broad daylight, i hopped the fence and filled up two plastic bags full of seed pods. Me and some friends prepped the seeds, ate them, puked, and then tripped hard. I was so proud of the experience, i wanted to make another great discovery like that; my mind wondered, what other amazing plants could be growing on the side of a busy freeway?

I spent hours researching and i found some other interesting plants that had been brought to the island. Wild dagga was my next discovery, while it was not as mind bending as the woodrose, it gave me that same great experience of hunting for a plant in the wild and actually finding it, a lot of it. Soon the excitement passed and i was longing again for another great discovery. I spent weeks researching plants, typing the species name and "hawaii" on google and sifting through the results; it seemed i was at the end of the ropes and there was nothing more i could find. I was about to give up when i came across the wiki thread on Acacia species; how interesting i thought, here are several species of psycoactive plants i never knew existed. I began my process of google searching the species name and "hawaii", looking at distribution maps of where the plant has been found growing.

Finally, i got a hit; Acacia confusa! I researched it more and soon discovered a report that said it had levels of dmt of about 1% in the roots. At that time there wasn't a lot of reports about extraction from this species; but i was determined to give it a try. I managed to find a report on an invasive species website that described how the plant had originally been introduced to the island. Apparently, back in the 1950's (somewhere around that time, it's been awhile since i read it) Acacia confusa was planted along the highways as a form of erosion control because of it's long sprawling roots, and the similar climate Hawaii has compared to Taiwan. My heart started beating when i read the last part of the paragraph; over 50,000 were planted as a part of that project, which means there are over 50,000 acacia confusa trees on Oahu alone, that have been growing for about 63 years Surprised Not to mention the countless generations of seedlings that have grown from the seeds of the original 50,000!

I immediately set out to find some; using the invasive species website i was able to locate a good area to start, in a state park on top of a mountain. I drove up on my motorcycle with a machete, small shovel, bungee cords and a printed out picture of the tree, flowers, and seed pods. I recognized the tree as soon as i pulled into the park; i couldn't believe my eyes, they were everywhere! Big grin I went to work, hoping i wouldn't get hassled for tearing the nice grass apart and ripping roots out of the ground; if anybody asked i was just gonna tell them i was on an extra curricular activity from my biotechnology program Rolling eyes I rode back down with roots strapped all over my bike and a big grin on my face; this was so much fun! Back to the laboratory aka my kitchen where i began experimenting. Thanks to all the great info on this site i decided to go with a STB and freeze precipitation. At this point i had filled my friend in on my discovery, i could hardly contain my excitement; if i was right about this, i had discovered something BIG!

One week later, it wasn't the prettiest stuff but there it was, a dish of yellow goo; i scrapped some up (a big glob) on a knife and lit it on fire, it instantly flash vaporized and i couldn't help but inhale the smoke as it drifted upwards towards my face; "oh the smell, that is dmt!" i said to my friend with a huge smile on my face "that is definitely dmt!" the room began to shake, i could hear everything vibrating, i felt my way to the ground and laid down on the kitchen floor, nirvana. Once i came to i knew that this was the beginning of something big; i had just discovered a source of dmt to supply every man, women and child on planet earth ten times over growing on the side of the freeway! Cool

Me and my friend immediately went to work finding and digging up the roots and making larger batches. I soon discovered entire forests consisting almost entirely of Acacia confusa! It was at that time that i began writing on this forum about my great discovery; but my friend being the great business man that he is, discouraged me from disclosing the true story in fear that others would read it and start taking our bark Needless to say we are responsible for many life changing experiences during 2010-2012 Wink I encouraged him that the real opportunity would be to not just share this wonderful gift with only Hawaii, but to share it with the entire world. Even though we could make much more money extracting and selling the "spice" i thought it would be better to sell the root bark online since there is nothing illegal about doing that. I explained to him that MHRB was running out and that ACRB could be the new source of dmt for the masses.

It should be said that during this entire time i was struggling with opioid addiction. I ended up leaving Hawaii in 2012 to pursue a new life and get clean. I stopped all my dealings with this project and didn't log on to the nexus to write about it anymore; i avoided anything drug related. I am glad to say i have been clean ever since with only one relapse (which was towards the beginning of my sobriety) I used suboxone to get off the pills, and now i am taking only 2mg a day, this is my last month and then i will be done with it for good Thumbs up

I was happy to see that Acacia confusa has continued to gain popularity in the community and that people are having success with it; which is of course because they are now getting real root bark. Where is that real root bark coming from you may ask? Well let's just say my friend has made a career as a root bark digger Wink I would be happy to disclose his website, but im not sure if thats ok; if it is i will post it on here, perhaps somebody can shed some light on this for me.

I knew many here would find my story interesting, which is why i have decided to come out with it now. I hope you have enjoyed it, i know i sure have! Laughing

Problem is, I can't really believe that there are enough Acacia trees in Hawaii (and elsewhere) to sustainably supply the world, in case spice use keeps blowing up (and it will).

Just keep that in mind, mainly because people have indicated that taking too much ACRB kills the tree.

Regardless, nice work spreading the love,
The Chairman

P.S. As far as talking about sources is concerned: Attitude Page. So the answer to your question is no.

well if prollipsis pallida turns out to be a viable candidate after all, there would surely be enough of that in the islands (its invasive as heck) to supply the world; i should think.

so cross your fingers, whilst simultaneously pretending that crossing your fingers will somehow help the alkaloid content of that plant be favorable for... entheogenic uses.

Interesting story, thanks for sharing Smile

The fact that acacia confusa is considered invasive makes me less worried about it`s sustainability in hawaii, but still, I think ultimately the best is if people can grow dmt-containing plants themselves or find in their own locations. Hopefully we are helping that happen here in the nexus.

And yeah, we have decided to not publicly share links of dried plant suppliers but rather only live plants and seed suppliers, to help going towards that sustainability goal.

Awesome story!...
Meditate before you venture, take it seriously, use it as medicinal—it is good psychotherapy if needed. Realize that you, the Earth, others, and the Universe are all one and the same process. Then take that knowledge back to become, as you already are, one with nature. Eternity in every moment. Divinity in every particle. All is one organism.
