Paulie G here again. Today I learned my next lesson, Selfish love is not love at all, and indulging in it puts an impenetrable barrier between yourself and those that matter. It's perfectly right to like yourself, but love is reserved for others in your life, love is your gift to the world and should be freely given, not hoarded within yourself.
Also I have learned that happiness is not made, it is a choice. The only path to happiness is to choose to be happy, if you choose to be happy then regardless of the terrible things that may happen, you will always have happiness to return to. External things may give you joy but true happiness is a choice that is made within.
Wham told us to choose life, but it's important to choose happiness too.
Ha ha ha that is the corniest thing ever, but still true.

I concur. I found happiness in choosing to be happy over letting things upset me. I still can get upset but its temporary. Like all things. I think its even more like accepting happiness into your life. Like those who do that with jesus.

I just dont need to call happiness by the name of some character in a book.
