but i'm living with a friend and about to get an apartment.
I ate lunch with her yesterday and basically just had a good talk. I didn't bring up DMT and she just kept telling me I needed to make the right decisions. She brought up the fact that our family is genetically predisposed to addiction and referenced me dads alcoholism and his brothers addiction to speed. I told her I knew I would never be an addict of any drug because I have something bigger than myself I am living for and I see addictive drugs as a waste of time and that they go against my spiritual path. she didn't take it too seriously and just said 'no one thinks theyre going to get addicted to drugs'...
All in all our relationship is intact and that's all that matters.
Quite a few similarities between my experience and yours.
Addiction also runs in my family, and at the time that I got kicked out, I was heavily addicted to a few substances. So she had more of a reason to be concerned.
Good to hear you're working it out with her. Best of luck!
