Hello FunkyBear and welcome to the Nexus

We know as Ayahuasca the brew made using Banisteriopsis Caapi, containing the MAOI alkaloids, and generally a plant admixture containing DMT, such as Psychotria Viridis. Although brews following the same alkaloid combination but using different plants were traditionally called Anahuasca (Ayahuasca analogues), and those commonly include Peganum Harmala for the MAOIs and/or other DMT containing plants (such as Mimosa Tenuiflora/Hostilis), many people have referred to those as "Ayahuasca" as well.
However, a brew including extracted MAOIs (or pharmaceutical reversible MAOIs such as moclobemide) and DMT is usually referred to as Pharmahuasca. You can find many threads about it with the search function, and a
whole subforum dedicated to experience reports and preparation methods.
Probably the most common way of preparing a Pharmahuasca brew using freebase DMT involves turning it into its salt form, since DMT freebase is harder on the stomach than DMT salts. In order to do that, folks usually dissolve it in an acidic drink, such as orange juice for the citric acid it contains, resulting in DMT citrate. But there's several ways to prepare it and ingest it.
Please take a look around the Pharmahuasca subforum and soon you'll find all the basic information and practical tips for safe preparation.
