Hi friends,
So I had this ayahuasca experience a few months back that I feel like sharing today.
I won't go too much into details.
It was around 7pm when I took the foul tasting brew...I had a few semi-pukes into the cup I was drinking out of, but I wasn't ready to waste good brew. Nasty, I know.
Ate two shrooms for good measure, because I like the taste
I turned off all the lights, lit a candle and lay in bed staring at the ceiling. As the medicine started to kick in, the walls and ceiling were morphing and melting. The light hanging from the roof was leaning in towards me. There was lots of red/blue colour, but most of all, a purple 'fire' was drenching everything in view. At this point I closed my eyes.
Things started to get more and more intense. For some reason, I was ready to let go of everything. All I can remember at this point was merging with everything, and imploding inwards (into the center of my being). This implosion was accompanied by visions of rainbow colored lava swirling all around me.
Just before the barrier between 'myself' and everything else dissolved, something spoke a certain quote (not sure whether it was me or not): 'Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.' - Bill Hicks
Then my being was flooded with unimaginable pleasure. It didn't feel sexual, but more than that. It felt all encompassing and ridiculously overwhelming. I had nothing to hide, the Ayahuasca had me completely under its control, I could do nothing else but surrender. I remember going from saying 'oh my god' over and over until I could no longer construct words to just a deep moan. This went on for a while until I think I blacked out. The rest feels like a dream.
There was a frequency. A pattern. A sound. It kept repeating itself. So I listened, and tried to predict the next phase of the wave. But I failed. Even though it was exactly the same as I heard it last time. On and on it went. I kept trying, and failing. It was bringing me into a very deep trance. It felt like hypnosis. It felt like the sound of God.
