I guess I should start with what motivated me to make this account in the first place. I've used the nexus as a reference for a couple years and in doing so I discovered that this forum has a vastly more knowledgeable user base than most other forums I've found concerned with psychedelic and entheogenic substances. I hope that through my time here some of that knowledge will be imparted to me and hey, maybe I'll be able to share some of what I've learned too. What made me create an account, specifically, was to contribute to the LSD testing thread on the topic on the viability of thin layer chromatography for home blotter testing, but I've also embarked on Kash's LSA extraction. I'm rather a fan of LSA, which at the moment is also what I'm most familiar with, but have smoked DMT once before (sadly without breaking through) and have tripped with some frequency these past couple years. I plan on attempting a A/B spice extraction as well in the coming months once I have the time and kit for it. I've also got a bit of home chemistry experience outside of the psychoactive realm by making ferrofluid and a short foray into molecular gastronomy. Regardless, I definitely have more to learn, and I hope that the creation of this account and essay are the first steps in that direction. I dont know what ferrofluid is maybe ionic water? but molecular gastronomy sounds like gut bacteria which I am really interested in. O I like how you said gastronomy like astronomy cuz technically there are more gut bacterium then there are stars and there are a lot of stars or a lot of grains of sand but gut germs win
