I have read the threads and stickies in the changa section but, would like to ask a few questions to make sure I understood everything.

1) Is the MAOI i.e Caapi necessary? How much of a difference doe sit make? My only worry is smoking it with friends who may be on certain medications. I read that it is not really an issue but, I would prefer not to risk it.

2) Many stand by a 1:1 ratio spice to herb. What would be a good ratio when looking for a mellow/softer journey?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

1) it is only necessary if you are looking to enhance dmt with the effects of an MAOI. I suggest you do some more research on maoi's. They are NOT to be taken with ssri's.

2) just take smaller hits. Go 1:1

1) Is there a good site where they sale a variety of herbs etc. to make enhanced leaf? I really do not want to order to various sites. I know I can probably buy them at a store but, I will be ordering more mimosa and would prefer to order all at once.

2) In the "The Art of Changa, a guide to making the perfect blends." It mentions infusing the aromas into IPA vs using leaves/herbs. Is this a preferred method? If this is the best way to add taste is there a "smooth filler leaf" instead of caapi you can use to be able to smoke it?

Is the MAOI necessary? For making Changa, for getting a longer experience and administration time and being able to dose repeatedly after shorter amounts of time - Yes.

Also take into account that the MAOI content of Caapi leaf is minimal, for real MAOI Changa you will want to do a full-spectrum/Manske tek with either Caapi or Rue.

As far as IPA is concerned, my favorite Changa guide recommends methanol or ethanol (#2 recommended for food safety) as Harmala alkaloids are very hard to dissolve in IPA, apparently.

How about you mix up a batch of 1:1, try a tiny dose and if it's too much, put the Changa in an alcohol and add some more leaves. You can always dilute, the opposite is not that hard.

Just consider that having the option to break through easily is a better option than not having that option. Very happy

Best of luck,

In my country, the legal go-to psychoactive substance is ethanol. Sometimes my friends get wasted and tell the craziest stories about how they go out at night to harvest strange grasses in the light of the full moon. They claim to meet elves, white light and jaguars. These are their stories.
