I tried DMT for the first time a few weeks ago and that time, and every time since, I notice that I cough for a few days and can taste/smell DMT when I do. Anyone else experience this?

never ever had this but i hate the taste and everytime i have a hit while i hold it in i swallow that disgusting flem that has the dmt taste and sip water, so it leads me to think maybe your coughing a bit of that flemmy saliva, i really don't know

I have never had this, but how are you ingesting it? It seems likely you are either burning it, or you have contaminant in it.

This is common. Myself as well as others I know have experienced this.

i notice pretty much anytime i put something in my lungs that isnt supposed to be there, and i have put a god awful lot of things in there thats for sure. Ive only experienced DMT 3 times now, and noticed this for sure. One thing though, i actually find the taste of the spice i have to be not unpleasant....Any thoughts on that?

I don't find dmt to have an unpleasant flavor either. Some people don't like bananas.

I regularly will get a dmt taste or smell regardless of how long it has been since my last experience. Its one of those tastes that you never forget. Sometimes the sudden taste also coincides with an urge to journey. I often convince myself out of it though. lol
