Hey everybody, Gym here.
I stumbled in here in regards to some questions I had about cacti. I cant believe some of the techs Ive read so far in regards to various different things and the complexities! It apears I have much learning to do. Im sure in time & some help along the way we'll get me ironed out in the chemistry department. As of this time my main interests are mescaline and Dmt. As far as first impressions go I'll say this, Im one of the weird ones who actually enjoys salvia Very happy I know there must be a few others like me around here. I look forward to meeting and chatting with everyone in the forums. Also if anyone has any questions, dont hesitate to shoot.

Welcome Gym! Smile

There's several very savvy members here when it comes to cacti; if you fail to find any queries answered already please feel free to ask.

As far as 'weird' goes, I reckon the fact that any of us are here at the Nexus would makes us weird in the eyes of many.

You mention DMT as an interest; have you experienced it?

Once more, welcome aboard!
I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

Hey corpus, thanks for the welcome.

I have had no experience with mesc, or dmt. Ive read alot on the two but you know how words can fail when it comes to these things. In short, whats intriging me here is that when it comes to reports there seems to be no "bad" reports with these two (when the dmt is smoked) Usually there is some mix when it comes to other actives. Also the difference in experience due to ingestion methods of dmt has my attention. There seems to be a potential of further defining what it is to have a given thing enter your blood via stomach or lungs. I dont hear too many stories of IV, but wonder if someone out there has tried it.

Ive read that dmt is like salvias friendly brother/cousin in how youre here, then boom! Also the meeting of entities seems to happen more often with these two. I have experience with salvia and have seen actual beings, and had times when I know something/someone was present, even though I couldnt visually see them. Dmt via aya seems to be a different category all together.

Mesc comes across as fun in the sun. Nature appreciation etc. Occasionally someone says they went overboard in regards to dosage, but still had a good time, just a little heavy.

The dmt really has me intrigued tho because like salvia theres a transport, and interactions, whereas mesc youre still here in your change.

If youve had experience with salvia, does smoked dmt just completely pull the rug out... no verbal explaination will compare, but possibly mislead you into preconceived 'imaginations' I guess you could say? This is the first place Ive read a report of someone getting a bit scared from the dmt entities. Usually people are excited and pleased, all positive beyond words. Literally, speachless.

Mesc I think I can kind of guess whats in store, but this dmt thing seem rich in mystery, which is right up my alley Very happy

Also, is smoked dmt similar to salvia in that every experience is different and you really have no idea what to expect from experience to experience? And is it a little more clear in that you have a little more clarity of what your teleporting through where salvia can be like getting caught in a hurricane/avalanche? Would comparing it like, where salvia is a dream happening 'to you', dmt would be like a lucid dream do any justice? You know what I mean?

Anyways these are just a few of my ponderings. Ive heard it said many times you dont choose dmt, dmt chooses you so all good things, and all things known in time..

I've been wanting to try mescaline as well. I also think I know about what's in store from my experiences with other psych's as well as the reports I've read.

Nothing can prepare you for DMT. It stands on its own. I went into rather experienced with heavy LSD/Psilocybin experience... came out of it with a "WTF WAS THAT?" response. Not bad or scary, just.... completely astonishing. it's beautiful.
