Hi I am a new member from the sunny regions. I am interested in all things psychotria and acacia Big grin.

I have started to delve into the world of spice and my first recent DMT experience has completely changed my life and how I see the world. Now I have developed an interest in ethnobotany and see all plants in a completely different way to how I used to. When I go out now, especially on walks in the woods or national parks, I find myself paying much closer attention to the plants around me. I can almost feel their energy coursing through the air, like they're trying to tell me something. It's more of a fanciful sense that I have rather than some delusional ooh the plants are communicating to me with esp type of thing. Although if they did I wouldn't mind!

Before this I had no experience with hallucinogens at all. They say that DMT is the most intense hallucinogen you can experience, but I can't really say, since I haven't experienced any other form of psychedelic.

On the face of it, it seems irresponsible, because I did my first trip alone in my house a couple of weeks ago. I'd researched it for an entire year beforehand, reading and listening to as many articles and lectures on alternative mental states as I could Mckenna, Grof, Lilly, and even Jung and Freud, and a lot of others.

Doing the trip alone was a big leap of faith. I was terrified at the beginning, but I also had the sense that I would be all right. Some would say it was a stupid thing to do, but I am glad that I did it by myself, because it means I was unhindered by the expectations or influence of another person. I told myself that if I lost my mind so be it. I didn't lose my mind, although the first few moments before breaking through after taking as many puffs as I could, were terrifying, like I was a lost child falling off a cliff.

I don't recommend that you do it by yourself the first time. I did do a lot of research, and I also meditate daily, so I have a sense of how to empty my mind and heart of all thoughts, including negative ones.

I'm here to share thoughts and opinions with people who are interested in expanding their mind and exploring the limits of their mind through the spice. I have this notion that I want to try and master these experiences, to remember them clearly, and to record them in a systematic way, rather than just dabbling and having the experiences flitter away moments after I've had them, leaving me with just a few profound glimpses here and there, but never completely being able to retain them. I think that if I can do it enough times, and approach it in the same disciplined way as meditation, I can learn even more from it.

Hi andm-
I'm a new forum user also and have only smoked the spice maybe x times but I really enjoy it also. The first few times I was careful to measure and enjoyed the chrysanthemums and patterns and fractals. I haven't used a lot of hallucinogens but i know I like this one...smoked with a friend and we chilled in his lounge watching the 'Mighty Moosh' off and on. No breakthroughs at that point. Alone in a dark room on another night by myself (no measuring - it doesn't really seem necessary?) When the machine starts to vibrate and pulse and I can feel I'm going...I was catapulted into some spherical white or grey area, being escorted by something I did not quite look at. I could hear a hum of voices saying over and over, 'yum-yum is interesting' I was being shown something but I was not really looking. But the sound!! What is that sound?? Anyhow, I had disconnected from my sense of self. I blasted off again, a huge face was in mine, fractal and terrifying. But I did not feel terrified. I did not feel particularly strong or confident with it either. A bit vulnerable. But i was fine. That is the nice thing about the short trip with vaped DMT. I might make changa at some point which sounds more meaningful and profound and a bit longer lasting too I hear. Nice to meet you. I can't PM anyone being a new member- although I have some TEK q's that seem unanswered in the forum and I haven't a clue who the moderator is...I like it best alone but with a close friend it can be fun too Smile
Peace

Hi!
This'll be my first post here. And after reading your thougts and take on spice I feel like we want the same thing out of Nexus. Someone to chatter away with and share experiences.

I had my first experience of changa and dmt a couple of months ago and after that nothing has been the same. Now I smoke it on a regular basis. 2-3times a week.

After the second inhale on changa(it was a really big hit) i could see the whole room started spinning like a tornado. And the tornado was spinning from a certain point in the middle of the floor. The more intense and bigger the tornado grew, the more was I losing grip of myself. My consciousness. I started to hear a ringing sound extremly loud from far away and it was decreasing in distance and increasing in volume. Until my ears almost burstd.
The sound started to increase together with the tornado and like that "POFFFF" the whole room was sucked in the tornado. Total darkness. After that I felt a calm, a calm I never felt before. I felt loved and embraced. And I realised I wasn't in the room anymore. I was floating around in the space. The void. Colors everywhere, blue, green and red. It felt like I could hear everything and in an instant I understood it all. A giant blue being presented herself that was so full of knowledge, wisdom and love. She showed me how to look at things.

After coming back down I was in a bit of chock. It was too much things that happened in that little amount of time. Too much to process. Didn't think of it at the time but I gradually changed my persona completely due to the experiences I've had.

Caring for the earth, the animals, the plants. Understand things in new prospective. I've open mind completely. Iโ€™ve thrown my tv away. Turning my back to social medias and stuff like that. I know now that weโ€™re all connected, thereโ€™s no separation.
Have started with meditation as well and is beginning too master lucid dreaming. Any experiences you had?

BTW I like plants also and I spend a lot of time gardening. I teach my children that they are alive and need to be respected and looked after. Just like they need to with themselves and others. I don't understand what the DMT World is; confusing and weird and strange but clear and ordered and with a sense of purpose. I enter with a question and I come out with an answer or a response of some sort. I like its short duration. Another hit and you can launch again quickly. I like that it's safe if used responsibly and extracted naturally, and that no-one has died from an OD. I think whatever IT is exists but it's nothing like this reality at all. I think one of the biggest problems with society today is our separation with nature. Cheers Smile

Sounds like an unreal experience and very fortunate for you to have met a being that may be your guide on future travels? I hope that will happen for me some day. I think I would like changa better than vaped DMT on it's own. I'll have to research harmaline and how to extract etc. It's a journey. I have been smoking crystals that someone unknown to me extracted. It's very vivid and electric and colourful and I breakthrough easier each time; but I am interested in using a natural extraction TEK so I know what i am putting in my body.

Did you make your own changa? What TEK did you use?

It was unreal and very profound. But I've only crossed paths with that deity 3 times. And a funny thing is that she's enormous. The biggest thing I've ever seen. Covering everything almost as far as i could see. First time I was so afraid until she reached out a helping hand.
I've only smoked changa 2 times. Rest of the time I use crystals. I like the intensity better and the visuals are more clear.

Like you said it is a journey that definitely leaves a lot of questions to ponder over. Getting some answers but then a lot of new questions in exchange. But in time it'll be more and more answers and less questions in my opinion.

It's good a friend is doing it so you know what's involved. I will be using q21q21's TEK to extract from Acacia Acuminata (Jam Wattle) that is endemic to Western Australia. Fortunate to have one of the highest concentrated DMT plants in the world only an hour drive away. They are everywhere. I have not done an extraction yet but will use the D-limeonene/lime/vinegar method (all food safe) and hopefully it will work. Will start with a small batch of powdered bark first. Are people using acacia bark in Eu?

Every time I go in I get an answer of some sorts. Might be an answer I already know but in a flood of variations. Might be shown something interesting. I always go in with a question or purpose. I don't feel any less grounded in this world but I don't understand the other reality either. I am surprised that I found this molecule and I actually enjoy it. there are not too many other mind-altering substances that I can be bothered with. Nice to meet you mate- Smile
