First off I'd like to thank everybody here for answering my questions in the past, this site from a genuine wealth of information with informed denizens to boot! This is my first extraction of DMT, with basic chemistry and cooking knowledge. So please bare with me, don't be afraid to throw some ideas in.

The tek I'm planning to use is the hippy salad tek v.2, with some other knowledge thrown in from other threads on acacia confusa.
The basic outline:

* cut > shred > grind bark
* freeze over night to help cell walls burst

- I was thinking instead of running/boiling the bark through water via THP or stove top, I'd use everclear diluted with distilled water to 70% since the dmt is in its salt for already (unless I'm mistaken because of the tannins)

* let sit in alcohol over night, filter solids
* repeat this at least 2 more times
* evaporate to a resin

- by this point it runs identical to hippy salad, but sticking to edible lime and vinegar for base and acid. I haven't decided what oil to use yet but I'm thinking hemp or coconut
- at some point I have to add a dry ice step to separate NMT from DMT and I'm considering an egg white step for tannins
- I think the dry ice step is better done towards the end after most of the fats are out

This is what I have so far, I'll flesh out all the steps and measurements when I know the best time for the dry ice step.
Feed back is highly appreciated, tell me what you think.

I may be wrong, but i think that the lighter the oil the easier it will be to use.
AFAIK coconut oil is a solid at room temperature, so wont be a great choice

Your plan sounds reasonable enough, however I do have a couple critiques. In making the resin I would advise water or ethanol as opposed to both together, and water is much cheaper, save the ethanol for the freebase conversion at the end. As pointed out above coconut oil is solid at room temp and would require you to keep it warmed at all times making the process much more difficult. Hemp oil will work fine but is very expensive, I would save that for getting your omega fatty acids and use a less expensive oil for solvent. I would ask that you go a little better than cheap GMO soy or canola, these work fine, but supporting Monsanto is not something a good hippie wants to do.

Best of luck with your endeavor, looking forward to hearing how the mods for acacia work out Thumbs up

Sorry bout the delay, I don't have a lot of time off these days. For reference, the details about separating NMT from DMT with dry ice is 48737. I would just hyperlink but my phone is having issues with copy & paste.

So i am curious, is it better to use the dry ice in water or alcohol. Or a mix is what I was thinking, will the dry ice freeze the water?

Edit:
Actually from what I know lime doesn't work so well in wet teks, I should keep it dry. Either by evaporating alcohol or water to resin. Or D - limonene but water and alcohol are for more accessible.

If i used water i could use egg whites for all the tannins and dry ice for NMT carb. Evap that and then stb.
