HOMO AB CHAO

Hi folks, graham diggins here,
hereforth lies a written attempt
to translate personal beliefs about
the past and future of mankind, which
may or may not correspond to existing
proven facts, into a premise and body
of resource material for the purposes
of film writing. My hope in writing
this text is to use the resources of
my childhood friend, Hollywood, and
of those inspired, to see the practical
commencement of those thoughts about man's
future outside of film. Outside of Earth.
Therein also lies much material for others
to help mankind to walk in the darkness of
his future in the cosmos with their
imaginations and their pens. So many of man's
greatest developements have been dreamt of by
the dreamers long before they were done by the
doers. within this story may be true elements
from my life that, though I feel entirely
proud of, believe that anyone alive deserves
to call this their own story. because this
campaign is designed to guide mankind, I
will refer to mankind itself as "the Audience".

An element of this story which may be
considered separately is a reincarnation
story linking many people throughout
history as being the same souls reappearing
on "stage", possibly played by the same
actors. The characters throughout history
would naturaly fall in to archetypes, with
as strong jungian themes as possible.
characters are able to remember parts of
their past lives that the "audience" may
have already witnessed previously. characters
are also able to, as though by memory, see
things from their future lives, as though
the soul is eternal and transcends time and
space. Another familiar anachronistic
recurrence is the appearance of certain foods.
foods which appear from the darkness of
the caves to the darkness of the black hole.

the title?

When we look at the audience, we must see it as a whole, including all the aspects of its existence. Some of it exists in the caves, some of it exists among the stars, and most of it lives somewhere in the rich and hearty places in between. This story will therefore, be featuring periods when the audience as a whole is what anthropology referred to as Homo Habillis and Homo Sapiens. I have come to refer to man existing outside of his body, as a consciousness incorporeal (such as I appear now in writing), as Homo Ab Chao.

private sector help

Just the same way that film production can facilitate the developement and public awareness of techniques and attitudes during the course of this project, the commercial manufacturing and retail sector can facilitate the developement of tools and equipment related to the project, useable in filming, that they can then sell, with the added promotion of the production, to their normal clientelle. Several examples are: small four season greenhouse kits, algal oxygenation units for the domestic environment and the real important ones. these being apparel. Several sports exist that humans long in the past played in zero gravity, one game featured will be a game called "cranefly" named after the awkward appearance of athletes who first attempt sports in zero-g. this game is essentially lacrosse and squash and is high contact. Athletes wear equipment akin to hockey padding, however theres no skates and the garb is lit up with el wire and led lights which respond to signals from a central game computer which change the athletes light color when they are in posession of the ball or in an opposing team's airspace. a contract can be worked out that ensures that a sufficient portion of the proceeds from the sale of the sensationalized hockey gear goes to developing the suits further to include breathing apparatus, for exploring planets with some atmosphere, and pressurizations to withstand the blackness of space.the goal is to have the current generation feel about one of these suits of hockey gear with lights and a computer on board the way my generation felt about the batmobile. On a lighter note, the humans who stay here on earth will have issues with the air, and breathing apparatus will become necessary, in fact many humans on earth currently feel that way. inflateable clothing will be designed and produced extremely inexpensively for the use in fashion and entertainment of the audience, thus further sensationalizing the elements of the overall story further and to a different audience. the inflateable garb or "airwear" is manufactured by the same craftspeople responsible for waterwings, beachballs and inflateable furniture and pool aligators etc. these transparent, gas filled clothing would function as potentially life-saving gear in the film but in commercial consumerism would come with a warning against using it as a floatation or life saving device. personal vaporizers could be attached to the flimsier plastic jackets or vests, thus filling your insulating layer with warm air, doubling as a warming jacket (smoking jacket, vaper vest). the tougher plastics could be made to hold clean oxygen rich air for emergencies, or helium to ease the weight of gravity. people can also dress as scantilly as they wish in cold temperatures and stay warm. the bubble would also prevent other people from physically touching the wearer's body as well.different suits would have differently inflated zones and shapes depending on their purpose. some suits would exhaggerate one's form, some would seek to hide or normalize it. the suits could also be filled with lights, possible even gases that light up. upgrades include presutization for space and armor.

Techtonosphere

Referred to henceforth as beach balls. a transparent polyhendron shaped greenhouse with a dense water and fish filled core. from the core grows permaculture foodforest outward . the balls are geostationary satelites and are not put out of gravitational pull untill the atmofilm is complete.some balls could be built of stronger materials, or or opaque materials and function as industrial or emergency shelter space. those living in the balls would have relatively little face to face group interaction besides these times in the hard balls.
the current design specifies that the balls be in the shape of a truncated icosahedron. A soccer ball. The faces or surfaces of the soccer ball, being both pentagons and hexagons are attached permenantly and transparent. once inside the geodesic sphere, a secondary, smaller identically faceted sphere is created and anchored in the centre. the flat surfaces of the inner ball are referred to as tektons. a tekton is similar to a tektonic plate of earth in that it moves and hold a particular culture or environmental setting. For example, in terms of hydroponic media, the tekton represents the "ground level" used to cultivate a platform with light on the exterior and moisture on the interior. the moisture drawn from the core by the flora and fauna on the tektons is ultimately recondensed and returned to the core after meeting the cold surface of the outer shell.

matrification

once a sufficient number of balls are in orbit, the process of assembling the balls into a sheet is begun. depending on the euclidean neatness of the polygons and arrangement chosen, the sheet can be very strong, but currently the design is as follows. The balls have opposing sides, this allows them to be lined up to form a linear system. access bays can be incorporated into the coupling of the adjacent balls. the lines of balls can then be staggerred to form a planar system. you could get a weaver to design patterns so complex and strong noone would want to build them but this is a basic pattern to work with that will satisfy an initial audience.

Atmofilm

Also called the techtonospheric bilayer. or "Film". the polyhedral shape of the balls allows the to be formed into a simple planar matrix or "sheet" in english. the sides of the balls that meet the other balls could have ports for movement of gases or solids between the balls, but large movements of people through the film would be better accomplished through the twinky zone. this sheet is positioned enveloping the moon or atmosphere weak planet. the second layer is the created within a mile of the first. gases are then stored between the two sheets, in the "twinky zone".once in a sheet, a regular light pattern can be determined for a particular ball, and particular crops and species can be assigned to different balls. Before the atmofil is complete, the balls will drift in "clouds" under a stary sky or beneath a glowing plastic sheet formed by the existing layer. the clouds will be green at first as their job before becoming geostationary will be limited to algal oxygenation. once in a sheet a regular light patter can be determined and the sheet becomes agricultural. the layers could have semi permeable ports similar to those in a real cell membrane. food produced in the sheet can he airdropped to the surface if it is inhabited or if the planet is robot mined the humans could live in the sheet to oversea or restock.

. kids on earth, when asked about life in the balls expressed concerns of loneliness but couldnt stop texting the whole time.
Before the domes are actually built in orbit, the techniques of building them to be taken apart and moved are developed, as well as how to withstand the pressures and temperatures of high orbit and outer space. many of the humans of earth begin living "off grid" long before the antagonizing plot elements take place. during this time, the G4 system is developed by a human on earth who could be a reincarated character from a previous time in man's history . when the rich and powerful of the seven largest nations see tht someone is essentially trying to settle outside of the scope of their real estate domain, next to their own paranoias, they panic and get on a big life support pod which has only the ability to orbit the earth but not leave it. when they do this, they trigger the re-entry of all the now unused satelites and spacejunk that formerly hung in orbit. this appears on earth as the years of raining fire spoke of in revelations. this blackens the skies and the only those able to live in domes and breathe clean air survive. Inside the domes we see a idyllic scene of technotribal family love and affection.The domesteaders utilize every trick imagineable to produce energy inside the domes from the forces of nature outside.outside we see a bayonet and lazer trench fight with those people who refuse to acknowledge their and thier environment's rapidly deteriorating state and choose to steal and kill for a living instead of farming (or domesteading). a very world war one environment scene with respirators and charred landscapes and mutant like skin disfigurations .These villains believe that to filter their air through water removes the harmfull elements.they all walk around with homemade bongs hanging off their faces.the outsiders are all underweight and underarmed but they are cunning and relentless. also in the outside many independant pockets of resourcefull survivors appear each with their own special bit of salvaged technologies or new discoveries. including a old character connection to the g4 character. eventually suits are developed that simply contain a bag of algea and as the algea gives off oxygen you breathe it, feels like a sumo suit tho.
