Hey everyone, I'm a student in the northeast part of the US majoring in chemisty and concentrating in organic chem. At the end of the summer and into this year (when I have the time to read books that aren't schoolwork) I've been reading PIHKAL by Dr. Alexander Shulgin, which has changed much of my perspective on the medical potential and lack of heavy research on psychedelic parmacology, and made my interests in psychoactives go from recreational to scientific. I just recently picked up an interest in alkaloid extraction, herbalism, and the medical qualities of plants, and am now coming to the Nexus to expand my knowledge on such subjects as well as possibly aid at some point, maybe even make some of my own extraction or synthesis teks.

Its great that you too, have an interest in the actual scientific parts. I run a lab, developing cures, using mainly just plants which we than modify if needed in order to produce the wanted result. Do you have an interest in working in a lab one day? Not an offer, just a question. I've got the employees maxed out for the size of the lab right now.
