I have a jar of B.Caapi (only) tea sitting in the back of my fridge, that has been there for about 4-5 months.
It was made using the Cold Filter Extraction method (The Herbal Percolator), with just water & a tiny bit of Phosphoric Acid to acidify the pH of the water a little (used in brewing beer & making wine etc...).
Then I used 1/2 an egg white to filter out the tannins etc... And filtered out the egg white completely!!
I tried it soon after I made it & it was definitely active, quite potent even.

So it has now been sitting undissturbed for long enough that there is a nice sized layer of something collected on the bottom.
I attached some pics. (sorry for the shitty res.)

I'm wondering if this is the Harmala Alkaloids collecting on the bottom.
It didn't start showing for about a month & a half, or longer.
I have screwed up the filtering of the egg white before & it looked somewhat similar, but it fell out of the solution in a few hours, not months. Also, this looks more like solids. Wet, saturated solids, but solids.
More like the purple dirt that adds up on the bottom of a flask of acidic Mimosa water, after sitting in the fridge over night.

So What do you guys think??

If it is Harmalas falling out of the tea, could I carefully decant off the golden liquid, collect & dry these for use?

Thanks!!

I thought harmalas were soluble in acidic solutions?

They are, but this is a highly reduced down (but well filtered...)Caapi tea, that has been sitting, totally undisturbed for 4 to 5 months.
Things are pulled down after too long.
Normally you need to mix up the liquid before use because of this, but this stuff is whiter & finer than what usually falls out after a few days.

It was 200g of B.Caapi with about 3x 5000ml of water percolated through it.
Then reduced to about 2000ml.
Cleaned with 1/2 an egg white.
Filtered like a mutha fuka!!
Reduced down to about 500ml.
Filtered again & again until very transparent & a nice gold color.
20-to-30ml is a potent MAOI for vaporized DMT
60-to-80ml can be effective by itself.

Thanks!!
