Hi..
I've had great success with my FB DMT experiences. Rich and powerful visions. I seem to have a knack for hyperspace travel.
On my last DMT trip, I vaped only 20mg in a Volcano vaporizer and had a wonderful breakthrough.
I found myself in a completely alien looking environment. It seemed like it was outside but the colours were inverted and very abstract, There i met an entity who told me that we were in my own subconscious He revealed to me the vastness of the space we were in and explained that more time was needed to do the work they were trying to do and relay the necessary messages to me. The experience was fast, but powerful. I intuited that this meant it was time for an Aya brew.

In the weeks since that experience, I have procured the necessary materials and have begun my brew.
As this is my first time, and the process I'm using has been deducted from the hundreds of experience reports I've read, i thought I'd post and update as I go. hopefully, if I have missed anything, one of you fine members will be able to point it out and help me on my way.

After ample research, I've decided to brew 50g of white Caapi along with 10g Chaliponga.

My method will be a combination of the slow cooker method along with 3X boils.
To elaborate, I have the caapi in one pot and the chaliponga in another, they will slow cook for approx 10 hours.
At this point, I plan to transfer the 2 batches into separate pots and soft boil the Caapi for 2 hours. I will add 1/8 cup of cider vinegar to the caapi before the boil. For the Chali, a 20 min boil (slow rumble) will be performed.
No vinegar.

The water will be filtered and the contents returned to the double slow cooker with new water. I will repeat this process again, but with less or no vinegar this time.

The third time will be less slow cooking and more boiling. i plan to slow cook for about 6-8 hours and soft boil the Caapi for around 4.
After my last boil, I will combine the water from all three extractions, bring the caapi to a quick boil, kill heat and add some egg whites to filter any excess junk. Then continue to reduce to a suitable level. (goal = 100ml)
Similarly, I will take the three chaliponga water extracts, combine and reduce to approx 10 - 15 ml.

Here's a question.. Should i raft the chaliponga?? (egg white filter) is it necessary?

Here's another.. is it best to mix my 2 brews and drink together, once reduced, or should I take the Caapi, wait and then take the Chali later? (say 30 mins?) - This part I could not decide on.

I will post pictures tonight, of the first stage. And be sure to update with my experience report.
I've chosen this method to try to reduce the chances of a dud brew, which I read is common for beginners.
i have had great success with san pedro and peruvian torch brews, so I am hoping this will do the trick.
Many thanks to the many who have come before me and shared their knowledge. I'm hoping this experience will offer me the opportunity to do the same for others.

Chaliponga has such an incredibly beautiful aroma. I've never seen mention of this. How delightful.

I asked about the egg filtering too, decided not to do it because egg is going to soak up anything indiscriminately.

It will probably taste a little worse without the egg, but at least you're getting everything out of it.

Good luck mate! Love and light can't wait to hear what you have to say when you get back.

10 grams of Chaliponga sounds promising for an intense experience.

Thanks folks. just finished my second filter. looking good. A little less dark than the first, but only just.

brokenchild, would you advise against an egg wash for the caapi also?? It seems quite common from what I've read, but I do want to get the most out of the brew, and can stomach the bitter taste if necessary.

These last pics are from the first extraction. I slowly reduced the caapi over almost 3 hours, filtered, and returned to slow cooker. I did the Chali for about 40 mins on a very low rumble. At the right temp, the tea seems to do a psychedelic dance.. I've noticed this with mushrooms and mescaline also.. Things kinda spiral around and swirl. Love it. This is the time to ad intentions!! I was left with a little more Chali liquid than I was hoping, but that can be reduced further in the last boil. My second filter was very good. Another 3 hour boil on the caapi and about 40 mins on the Chali. The amount of water added from the second batch was about half of that from the first. When I filled the slow cooker again, i used only enough water to cover the leaves of the chali and the same plus 1 cup for the caapi. The third brew is the same as this. It will be processed tonight. Tomorrow, I will do my final filter and reduction.
Launch will be some time in the evening. Cool

The thing about it is, to advise against it, I cannot. I would rather you made your own decision from your own best judgement. I can only give you my opinion tho,

I've tried 2 brews so far, the first one was alicia SPP (very similar to caapi, but no MAOI inhibition, was mislableled so I thought it was caapi) and it wasn't that bad, I did not use an egg.. yes there was sediment, but overall just slight nausea, the admixture tasted worse... I was able to keep both down, and nausea went away after 45 mins. If you have to purge, and it comes on, don't fight it just let it out, and you will feel refreshed afterwards. If your body allows you to hold it down without that, then hold it down, but just listen to your body and go with that.

The second caapi brew I recently brewed up was red caapi, and it tastes sweet and delicious, tho I haven't had enough to "stomach" it yet, so not sure how that's gonna go, but in any case as far as I can tell the egg will soak stuff up indiscriminately. So it's up to you.

Today (yesterday since it's nearly 3 am) was a big day for this brew and for me.. I Let the brew slow cook for another 9 hours during the day and boiled that down for about 2. ( there was less water to begin with this time.)

After the third boil, having collected and combined all three extracts, I decided to brew one more time with the caapi and the chaliponga leaves in the same pot, just to ensure that everything had been extracted. I boiled this mix down for 2 hours, extracted, and reduced it a bit more before adding the rest of my 3 caapi extracts. I then reduced this down to 50 ml. ( i was originally thinking 100, but 50 was attainable without getting too thick to work with.

When I was done with the vine and leaves, they were mostly black and pulp like.

I wonder if any of the goodies from the Chaliponga would have been left. If so, the Caapi tea alone should be a good ride. And I should know if I am inhibited enough for the Chali tea..
I have the Chaliponga brew separate still. It's about 10 ml. maybe a tad bit more.

Finally, I did decide to go with the egg wash on the caapi. i found a few good threads about the topic and there were some interesting and inspiring reports. This part of the process was very interesting to me. The egg took out a good amount of stuff, but there is still lots of sediment. it also made the brew a beautiful deep red colour.

I decided to give this method a try, since i wanted a fairly smooth first ride. I don't fear and won't mind a purge at all, but a more gentle entry is preferable. Also, if for some reason the brew doesn't work, I have some syrian rue on hand. Since the Chali is a separate batch, I can wait to take it until I am sure that I am inhibited. By the look, smell and vibe of the drink though, I think it's going to work.

The whole process up until now has been a trip in and of itself. From the diet changes to the attention to detail, the smells and focus on intention... this wonderful brew has already helped me to improve my life and knowledge base. I'm too excited for tomorrow!! But for now, it's time to rest and sleep. I'll post some more pics of the egg wash and all in the afternoon.

The Brew was successful, but much more mild than I had imagined. Almost immediately after drinking the caapi tea, I could feel myself starting to relax and daze off. Very meditative. For the first hour, this feeling just got slowly more intense and pronounced. I felt like moving and dancing. No nausea at all. Although I could feel the brews heaviness and it made my guts growl quite loudly a few times. Some slight indigestion type feelings subsided after a few burps. Besides that, i was warm, happy and very safe feeling. I took my chali tea about 40 mins in. It took about 20 mins before I felt anything from it. I would get small tryptamine rushes. It felt like I was about to break through on vaped dmt, but then would quickly subside. They felt like tremors or sudden electric bursts. Each time it would happen, I'd go a bit deeper into the experience. Small fractal designs would appear in my periphery, mostly in black and white. They were subtle, but would carry me away when I would look at them. The visions Began about an hour after taking the chaliponga tea. It started off with this feeling that my body and the air directly surrounding my body had become one. i could feel the air as if it were a part of me. I also became aware of the air on the fringe where I couldn't feel'. This gave me the sense that I was wrapped up or protected as I entered. Following this was a very heavy tryptamine rush. The entire room burst into movement. The chair, table.. anything in the room was exploding with movement, but at the same time was completely still. Instead, it seemed like the objects were bursting with a type of thick elastic light. I smiled ear to ear as I watched. Finally I closed my eyes. I slowly sunk into visions of my early childhood and youth. I saw things i haven't thought about since they happened. Names, faces, smells.. The whole bit. Entire scenes played out. Most of these scenes were moments in my early life where conflict existed. Defining moments. Some I was proud of, some not so much, but as they passed, I kept wondering why these conflicts happened in the first place. It was the only part the visions were not showing me. I was left feeling like maybe "why" wasn't important. Instead I focused on the feelings and emotions left behind when the events were said and done. This left me a compassionate bumbling mess. I could feel the same compassion for those who I had wronged as I did for those who had wronged me. The visions eventually faded into a wave of fractals that looked like octopus heads, flashing in a dull purple light. As I watched, I felt like I was in the presence of love. The big love. This lead me out of the vision and back to how I initially felt. Relaxed, calm and super lucid. Happy with the results. Next time, I'll try a larger dose of Caapi.
