Does anyone have any experiences for doing DMT at night?

This coming up weekend a few friends are having a little camp fire together outside. I was thinking of trying it out and looking at the stars. So far I have just been experiencing OEV and have been astonished at the beauty of it all. Especially trees. Just amazing!

p.s. I will not be near the fire.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

you can be near the fire, just not super close (the traditional method of ingesting dmt is at night around a fire, archetypically), especially if you have sitters.

but yes, psychedelics are especially amazing at night time, IME

I think most people do them at night. Night time allows for a lot of different things to happen. For me personally, night time allows for deeper visuals and visions. I find night time relaxing more then day because I know I am alone for the most part and can relax and let go into the experience since no one is watching! Also, having a deep experience all night then crawling out of your tent with the morning sun warm your skin is the bomb-digity-fresh. Laughing

Just be careful with DMT near fire; but, it looks like you already have that taken care of. Enjoy and tell us about it!

I will update after this weekend.

Yeah I mean, I was thinking about being near the fire maybe..Whenever I breakthrough my mind is still in a state of extreme soberness. So I know right from wrong, etc. I guess it all just depends on if the stars are out shining that night.

Salvia is the kind of thing where I would feel quite unsafe to do anywhere near a fire...even with candles lit in places out of reach...Laughing I don't find DMT to be like that at all. There's little chance that you'll move out of a seated or prone position involuntarily.

In terms of doing it at night, I've always found myself to be more of a day person where I like the way hyperspace looks well-illuminated, however I've had some pretty magical experiences at night where the stars get interconnected and dance in the sky. Behind closed eyes, I often see castles and rooms in predominantly dark bluish hues. It's quite intimate, but it's also all the harder for me to see exactly what's going on.

It depends on what you are looking for, but IMO night time trips allow for an experience that is based solely on the self. A lack of optical stimulation allows for an individual to see what is purely a result of their own consciousness. Aside from that, what is a better way to transition to hyperspace than the twinkling welcome of the stars deep in the cosmos. They are basically blinking in an awe-struck fashion shortly before you meet them face to face.

That is my two cents Smile

Safe travels !

Wow, I hadn't even thought of taking a trip outdoors in the daytime before. To be honest, in my 10 or so DMT experiences looking for OEV hadn't even crossed my mind.

As far as taking DMT at night time... it's wonderful! I feel more comfortable at night time, like I'm being embraced by the lightless, even with eyes closed Smile

Smoked a big ol' hit of changa last year at a campfire with my girl in the woods after a festival in the nearby city.

One of my most visual trips for sure. The fire looked amazing I was getting lost and at times it looked like morphing fluorescent glass.

Staring at the logs smoldering and burning eventually made me feel like I was witnessing some volcanic world in all its majesty.

When I began to come back and realize I was staring at a campfire it was quite an astonishment. The trees around camp felt very conscious and alive as they swayed in the wind. I highly recommend this setting.

I barely moved out of my seat 4-5 feet from the fire if at all.

Have fun.

So I tried it out at night..It was pretty cool. I totally forgot to look at the firepit..doh! I was so amazed by the grass and trees. Colors were much brighter and I got the usual what I call Quadruple crossing effect, where everything looks like its crossed into 4's. Outside felt like I was in a room outside. Only thing I didn't like, was the song I had in I think got me stuck in a "looping" effect that I think some people talk about. It was the first time I noticed something like that. Overall the night time was very cool, I just wish it wasn't cloudy out since I would of loved to look at the stars next time.

When I closed my eyes, I noticed something like a ladder type pattern hyperspace thing.

I just wish my breakthroughs would last longer, I can only manage 2-3 minutes tops.

it's great reading other peoples accounts. I've only ever taken DMT at night, and have had the best experiences with my head buried in a duvet. In terms of OEV's, I haven't had all that many, apart from when I broke through, where the dark room was suddenly an oil painting gently swaing in front of me. then 5 seconds later my eyes, although open, didn't seem to work as I hurtled through an unknown amount of dimensions.
doing it under stars sounds truly magical though, glad you had a great time, and fingers crossed for clear skies next time

DMT and camp fires go together wonderfully in my experiences. I like to throw crystals in the fire, hippy nonsense maybe but i like it anyways Razz

I find that some of my most pleasant experiences have been ones in complete darkness. We used to have a "hyperspace closet" where we'd blast off. It was large enough to lie down in without feeling cramped. We'd then tape up the cracks around the door so that no light was let in. The lack of visual stimuli allows for your brain to fabricate everything. It always blows me away to see just how powerful my brain is.

I was all for morning adventures. But Sunday i hit it at about 7AM and i think i got hyperspace out the wrong side of the bed. For some reason everything came spilling into my room. Like I'd busted a hole in it's gut, and all the dream weave was coming out.

especially at 11.11pm, at this time the gate is pretty much open.

I prefer night-time, closed eye journeys - in fact, I go for as much sensory deprivation as I can (ear buds, sleep mask etc) to isolate my trip from external influences. Although I have tried a couple of trips sitting outside, looking over water and trees in the moonlight and that was cool too.
/peace out brothers and sisters

I will have to try that out one of these days with full sensory deprivation.

So far, I've just loved it with my eyes open. I've tried it with my eyes closed and its just not nearly as intense. Could be setting,etc..with my eyes open how joyful everything is it almost feels like its an orgasm to my eyes. Especially in my chest when I saw space around me it was an intense rush of joy that's indescribable.
